In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

I don't pray, but I hope the perp does life without the possibility of parole, and does hard hard time.

The cops said so' did they really. I used to be a Cop and that..if the report is correct, is way too early to be making unilateral statements about the cause.

It's called an investigation and that's  not like boiling an egg.

What sort of cop makes a definitive statement like that, before they have even interviewed this PoS.

Pretty fkken suss if you ask me.

Well then feel free to present any evidence you have other than gut feeling that the police may  be lying in this case.

The evidence is that this cretin made a definitive statement with absolutely no investigation and therefore no supporting evidence. which makes him either the worlds greatest detective who does not need to investigate anything before coming to the correct conclusion or a lying fkken cretin.

Hmmm, I wonder which one it could be.

But feel free to be just like him.  Grin Grin Grin

Here are the facts, police investigate crimes and based on the evidence gathered they come to a conclusion; they do not blurt out what ever comes to mind just because they want to big note themselves in front of the cameras.

Understand sherlock?

That's correct.

Stabbed a family member, stole a car, took a hostage, then killed the pedestrians.

So it is alleged.

The police knew exactly who they were dealing with.

you need to read a very revealing chapter in the best seller "Outliers" which explores this very point.

It actually also applies to Scotts, and the theory has been used to explain why Sth USA 'rednecks'  have the shoot trespassers attitude.

exactly Gordon, good to see someone reads widely.
the cattle herders of texas are more violent due to this evolutionary pressure.
the scottish highlanders were notoriously violent due to this evolutionary pressure.
if you herd animals (and this is the predominant farming in the middle east and eastern mediteranean) you would do well NOT to co operate with your neighbours.

if you grow rice, you are basicly screwed if you dont learn to live in harmony and help every other member of the village.

But what this has to do with a guy running down people in Melbourne is oh so clear.

because there was a debate going on about if the guy was middle eastern, greek, italian if you care to go thru the transcript.

my point is people from these nationalities are more prone to violence and being unable to control their tempers as they have been herding animals for since time began and being a successful animal herder means you NEED to be a hot head as the guy next door cannot be trusted and will be advantaged by stealing your animals and not co operating with you
My point was that east asians , because they farm rice , are at a genetic advantage in terms of survival if they co operate and help each other get in the rice crop and that a hot head in east asia will probably be bred out.

Now, if we accept this (and i cant see why you wouldnt) then if we need to have immigration to stimulate population growth, let us import neighbourly east asians and let us not import the hot heads from the mediteranean, middle east, greece, sicily and north africa.

and if we look at the crime problem in melbourne, can we agree that the mediteranean mafia types, the middle eastern and the north africans do appear to cause a disproportionate problem?

About the only thing a south korean, singaporean, taiwanese or hong kong migrant will do to harm you is maybe drop a heavy abacus on your foot.

So they knew who he was; true

They knew what he he had done; also true

And from that alone you geniuses have concluded they , without further investigation including any sort of interview; know to an absolute certainty, why or more importantly why he has NOT done all of this. Total bullsh1t.

Until they do an actual investigation (it's what they are paid for) they have no idea why he has done what he has done.

People from all cultures go nuts at times, but as you know it's more about the trends and averages than the rarities.

The rice farmers are a classic example of people who have to cooperate, they flood their field and the water flows from one farm to the next.

On the culture of honour, I dare anyone to try a 'mum jokes' with anyone from a culture of honour.

A terrible Catch 22 situation for the police.

They terminated the car chase, in the interests of the public.

Subsequently, though, the prick goes on to kill at least three people.

And, as I said before, the police have confirmed they knew exactly who they were dealing with.

Not a terrorist, as Hammer, Red, Gordy, and BigHole said, but a violent thug with a history of criminal behaviour, drug problems, and mental issues.

That didn't stop Red, Hammer, Gordy, and BigHole from demonising all Muslims, though.

Low life scum.

They should have arrested him while they were investigating him; you know during the interview.

They have been chasing him for a day, not investigating his motives and that is what this about, isn't it?
