Jan 15th, 2017 at 6:36pm

Would any Australian like to be able to walk into a "drug store" aka the US.. and just buy a gun/hand gun...sometimes I would welcome this freedom.. but most of the time not.

No guns for sale in 'drug stores' in the US Abscess, now gun stores or sports stores is another matter.

Quite right Agnes.

Recent shootings of unarmed citizens in the US, prove that ALL POLICE OFFICERS SHOULD BE DISARMED!!!

'Black lives matter!!!!!'

.....while the lives of whites, and yellow peoples, and all others, are 2nd class, and matter a whole lot less.

/sarc off

'Black lives matter!!!!!'

ARGUMENT;

Why do police officers need those firearms!

Quote:

Texas police 'shoot man with hands up'

Google

That is an example of why police should NOT be issued with firearms.

ALL
firearms are just too dangerous.

And don't get me started on paring knives!!!!!      [< -------- concealable weapon!   HOW COME THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW SUPERMARKETS TO SELL PARING KNIVES AND BOXCUTTERS!!!!!!!       ITS INSANE!!!!!]

If firearms are so dangerous [AND THEY ARE!], then,     ....why are so many firearms seen on the hips of so many people who are walking on our streets ?

My argument is, that because firearms are very dangerous, all of these people, are a danger to themselves, and to other citizens.

And for the sake of public safety, these firearms should be removed from our community.

.

These people must be disarmed!!! Firearms are just too dangerous, to be so readily accessible to potential criminals [which each one of these people are!].

ARGUMENT;

Going by the criminal charges that have frequently been brought against many people who wear these uniforms, it is reasonable to conclude that many of these persons [who wear these uniforms] are,     .....potential rapists, child molesters, and wana-be-drug barons.

Should our government be really be allowing people like these [potential criminals], to have access to very dangerous firearms, willy-nilly ?

It has never been that way in Australia cods, even before the ban on guns..nuff said, in Australia there were pretty strict conditions before you could buy a gun..not in the US though. No I did not explain my reasons and now I won't for the most part.. I have used guns..and also like target practice at Gun Clubs.. a lot of women do. I would like to own a cross bow as well...so I could join a club...you will get a very bad knee jumping to all those conclusions.  Wink
  Of course I would not like it so teens could go buy a gun and walk out the door... wasn't really a serious proposition..more a right we will never have and I miss being able to pursue that particular sport.. my rifles are gone now. my license expired and the thought Of having to jump through hoops to get it back annoys the heck out of me.

Exactly, criminals have guns today as they did in the past. Our new restrictions are nothing more than hot air and a deliberate disarming of society.

Took my kids shooting over the holidays...taught them to respect and be safe with firearms. No issue. Total over reach by JH, sucking up to the limp wristed muppets who never voted for him and never would.

After one bad experience with a thug who tried to 'home invade' me - I would like to have a gun at home for my protection, but also just for the opportunity to execute bastards like this regardless of my own safety.

You can be sure he was already 'well known to the police and the court system' for a string of past offences of a violent nature, and yet here he was running around as free as a bird to terrorise people in their own homes.

  There was a time I was  at home with just my kids Lord Herbert..when I would loved to have a hand gun at home ( stored safely of course). One evening a well known stalker from around my area tried to open my door late at night when I was home with my 6 month old and my  3 year old...I saw the door handle moving and I stood there praying it was locked...it stopped and I quickly peeked through my blind as I saw this large man walk out my front gate.. it was him. I would not have hesitated to use it had he come in through my door..he knew it was just me there, he was watching for quite a while..
even though you will charged with murder in such circumstances.. you cannot hurt or kill an intruder on your property..the US has it right in that regard..

Tks, we all had a blast!  Amazing thing is how much people enjoy shooting,  even the ones who are opposed to gun ownership/use...just shows you how soft and misguided this country has become.

And for 4 days the kids couldnt give a sh1t about their iphones and social media. WinWin really. Oh well, till next holidays back on the farm.

Guns are fun to shoot but it's good to know you can flip the bird in traffic and know the driver won't pull out a gun
