Predictions for the first 100 days of Trump

the first 100 days of any new government or administration is usually the most critical. Opposition is usually fairly muted to enable the govt to find its feet although the Republicans have never quite understood that. It also gives observers an insight into what the new leader is likely to be like.

So what do you think will happen in Trumps first 100 days? Here are my estimates.

~He will throw a daily tantrum because his extensive powers still dont enable him to rule by decree, something he would already know if he had ever run anything other than his own personal fiefdom.

~The economy will start to retract as his constant threats and demands spook industry from both moving offshore and moving onshore.

~Obamacare will be dumped and nothing put in its place.

~Russia will move on Ukraine either invading or posturing and Trump will do nothing... or worse.

~Twitter will close Trumps account

~Freedom of speech will be narrowed, if not by legislation then by threat and intimidation.

~General bizzare and contradictory behaviour.

~There will be one assassination attempt

I think he will have a honeymoon period tho to thinking people his appointments to Cabinet etc indicate disaster in the making.

By the end of the 100 days tho his lack of attempting to implement any of his promises will be eroding his support in the electorate.

His appointment of some conservative to the SCOTUS is going to signal the start of a rollback of gay rights, abortion rights, IR laws etc. Big companies and the rich will get tax cuts. This will see the debt start rising very quickly. This time next year the US govt will be doing the sorts of foul things the Libs are doing here.

Some of them are already true! Obamacre dumped. Bizarre behaviour. And Obama moved tanks to Eastern Europe to put some brakes on his expansionism. Do you think Trump will be anywhere near as consistent?

You know those internment camps the tin foil hat wearers kept saying Obama was building, well it was actually the repugs & their backers.
They will be used to house any & all that dare to disagree within the 100 days.
America will be a police state akin to North Korea by 2020

And fools like Fred & Cods will be cheering & willing it to be that way here under Dear Leader Morrison/Dutton or the outside runner Abbott.
