The problem is that while they dont authenticate it, they - and everyone else - has little doubt that it could be real. Trump is hardly an upstanding moral standard-bearer.

And there is the problem. Do we hold the "National Enquirer" standard of "well it could be true", or do we wait and look for actual evidence?

Another possibility is that the whole"Russian hack" was engineered by those affiliated with the Clinton syndicate... knowing the end game was to smear Trump. The death of Seth Rich starts to fit with that scenario.
