Take away my uncle's balls, and he'd be my aunt.

The truth is, Clinton won the popular vote ... comfortably.

American voters are not getting the POTUS they wanted.

That's nice, but you will note I was responding to someone who didn't believe he won most of the counties in the country, which he did.

What part of that did you feel warranted the response you gave?

No, I would like to see a US govt official tally that confirms this ludicrous claim. Statistcially alone, it would be difficult to win virtually every county and still lose the popular vote by such an enormous margin.

IN essence, I dont believe you.

One thing about do-gooders like Streep is they have heart bursts where they start blubbering. You almost start to believe that flowers and unicorns are going to start flying out of her asshole. They aren't in the real world. Too spoilt, too detached and too egotistical.

Indeed.

She did well.

Indeed, I didn't think she would get 443 counties.

And win the popular vote.

She did, though: she won the popular vote ... comfortably.

Just like I always predicted.

A problem here might be the assumption that counties have any similarities to electorates we have here with their new-equal populations. for example. to quote from your own link...

Meanwhile, the Brookings Institute think tank said that the 420 counties that Clinton won generated 64 percent of America’s economic activity in 2015, and the 2,600-or-so counties Trump took generated a mere 36 percent.

in other words, the counties where people actually LIVE in significant numbers voted for Clinton.

It is an interesting statistic but is about as worthless as it gets.

Obama won in a landslide in 2008 and yet apparently only won 22% of the counties.  that pretty much underlines the worthless nature of this fact.

Nope. You bet she would win the election; not the popular vote. She lost the election.

Last laugh belongs to the Democrats. Latest news is that Russia has BLACKMAIL information on Trump and will use it.

Wait until the hammer and scythe flag flies over much of Europe.

Who made any assumption on counties and population size?

No, I would like to see a US govt official tally that confirms this ludicrous claim. Statistcially alone, it would be difficult to win virtually every county and still lose the popular vote by such an enormous margin.

IN essence, I dont believe you.

And yet she won the popular vote. So how can that be possible? She also won states that the map has almost entirely red. How is that possible?  BECAUSE counties are about as meaningless as it gets. There are large red areas with a population of 200 and tiny blue areas with a population of 20,000.

Big deal.

Great speech by Streep. Trump is not fit for the highest office in the land.

I haven't read the copy: yes, I am THAT lazy: but the broad can eat me!

She is over-rated because Hollywood is stagnation personified.

Trump may not be qualified but look at the world around him: are the media qualified? Is democracy itself qualified?

Greed is abundant and to say Meryl Streep has less of a grasp of that reality than Donald Trump beguiles me: what's her postcode, for instance?
