I'm not trying to deflect from Trump to Clinton
of course you are ...
do you see the hypocrisy of the trumps supporters calling for the democrats to accept the umpires decision when many that are making that call have themselves steadfastly refused to do so for the past 8 years? that is the topic. Anything else is a deflection.
I see this hypocrisy....as reported by Western Journalism when the post-election riots broke out.
"The left claims to be open-minded, tolerant, inclusive, yet they are of the opinion that they are “right” and everyone else is “wrong.” They claim that Trump is the candidate of hate, yet look at the protests above, which are rife with intimidation and intolerance.
Americans were tired of being told by the mainstream media, in no uncertain terms, that there was only one “right” choice this election. Against a poxed and mendacious establishment candidate, they were told to focus on personalities and not policies.
When the people didn’t vote the way they were told, things got ugly. And why should we be surprised? We’ve seen all sorts of bullying in the name of what the left believes is “right.”
And did the media cover this? Of course not. They’ve stoked the flames, and now they look away from the fire that they’ve created."
THe far right and the far left both refuse to see their own hypocrisy. Right now, the biggest hypocrites in the US are the celebrities and media who for months told us that Clinton was "the only choice".
Remember this little nugget when some Trump supporters said they could never accept Clinton as their President?
Nov 4...Washington Post's "The Fix"
"A quarter of Trump supporters say they won’t accept a Clinton victory" --- the author went on to slam them for that. Joy Behar and other infotainment people demanded Trump be tried for sedition for allowing his supporters to take that approach.
now....
From the Washington Post on November 13....
"The Post-ABC poll finds 74 percent of all Americans say they accept the election of Trump as legitimate while 18 percent do not. That result parallels a Post-ABC Tracking Poll just before the election, which found 79 percent of likely voters saying they were prepared to accept the outcome of the election regardless of who they support....
But while Trump supporters were more reluctant about accepting results before Tuesday — 22 percent said they were not prepared to do so — an even larger share of Clinton supporters now say they do not view Trump's election as legitimate."
In 2000, Al Gore and supporters challenged the election results, then in 2016, the percentage of Trump supporters who said they would not accept the results were reviled...and then Clinton participated in a challenge of the results, rather hypocritically, after saying in NC prior to the election, that a candidate who did not support the result of the election, was undermining the nation.
Both parties are full of caca.
And reminding the coastal elites who supported Clinton, that she wasn't any better than Trump, is an honor and a privilege.
