Has there ever been a President-elect in US history who has, in 6 weeks before his inauguration, become so monotonously predictable?

Even Nixon, flawed by his paranoia, fear of the people, the press, and sense of inferiority towards the political establishment of his day did not even come close to this kind of over-reacting.

He did, however, in the end, abuse his authority by using the state's surveillance capacity to attack his real and imagined 'enemies'...

Will this be Trump's legacy after January 20?
