He needs to bring the vets into the discussion, and point out that successive administrations, red and blue, have expected America's sons and daughters to go to the the ME and get their legs blown off, or worse, for no reason other than vested interest. Its a bigger lie than those that got us into the Vietnam War. No one in their right minds believes there will ever be peace in the ME. But Trumps needs to move fast on this, because his honeymoon will soon be over.

If Trump knows what to do he is very clever at disguising it.

My perception is that Trump is clueless and has no rational plan or vision.

Eventually, the neocons will grasp control of Trump by pointing out the best way to get re-elected is to foment a conflict and, without cause, bomb some poor country that has no defenses.
