Obama, always a winner
Dec 22nd, 2016 at 5:59am

Top Five Vote-Getters in American History:
69,498,516—Obama—2008
65,915,795—Obama—2012
65,844,610—Hillary—2016
62,979,636—Trump—2016
62,040,610—Bush—2004

Percentage of Popular Vote by Winners of Past Five Elections:
52.9%—Obama—2008
51.1%—Obama—2012
50.7%—Bush—2004
47.9%—Bush—2000
46.0%—Trump—2016

Sometimes Bush is last, sometimes Trump is last.
But President Obama is always first.

This would explain why optimism & confidence are surging to an unprecedented level now that he's leaving the building

Bogey, always the loser. Yes, the Trump honeymoon has begun - as it should.

AiA & friends, always in denial. You represent a failed philosophy and a failed agenda. Failure all down the line.

au contraire. had Obama been given the chance, he would have won a 3rd term ... easily.

obama played a very weak sauce game.

he was a validation seeking man whose direction in life appeared to be to "cope" with being president.
he looked like he just wanted to survive the 8 years without being destroyed.
surviving not "thriving".

its the default position of the beta male and totally understandable from an evolutionary psych position.

if you risk something and it goes bad (say you try to get a juicy peice of meat off the tiger)...then you are dead.

but if you dont risk it, you miss out on the opportunity but you are still alive and tomorrow there might be another opportunity (which you will also miss as you are now motivated more by fear of taking action, then by the reward of taking action).

its why so many beta males just talk and talk and talk...there is no risk. its basicly a gutless and mediocre way to live life.
even better to just talk to your similarly weak beta male comrades...now there is no risk, you wont ever have to deal with anyone disliking you.

its about as mature as a 5 yo at day care or a 12 yo putting a pick on facebook.pweeese, pweeese, be nice.
pweese, pweese be my fweeend

its very feminine , its very weak, its very Barak  Wink

AiA, I believe you've  fallen on the worst set of statistcs to make you're  case. A presidential candidate gaining under 70 million votes in  a country were there are 240 million people of voting age is nothing to rave about.

a different result can be reached by comparing raw numbers to total population:

69,498,516 out of 304 million = 22.86%—Obama—2008
62,040,610 out of 293 million = 21.17%—Bush—2004
65,915,795 out of 314 million = 20.99%—Obama—2012
65,844,610 out of 324 million = 20.32%—Hillary—2016
62,979,636 out of 324 million = 19.43%—Trump—2016

But nine ways to Sunday, President Obama is first and Trump is last. I'm pretty sure it says so in the Bible

Reality always makes me happy. And that includes a Trump presidency. Life is too short for what should be but isn't ...

Following your argument, AiA. The reality of AIDS,  pedophilia, terrorism, pollution, political corruption...these things make you HAPPY? Strange!

Obama = most wars

Quote:
................—2,499 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq so far under President Obama, according to the independent Iraq Coalition Casualty Count.

—Of those, 1,906 have been killed in and around Afghanistan, and 593 in Iraq.

—Under Obama, the United States has been at war for 2,687 days. That's longer than under George W. Bush — or any other U.S. president, for that matter.

—Obama has conducted airstrikes on seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and Syria. (That's three more countries than George W. Bush bombed.)

—U.S. combat forces are deployed on the ground in three countries: Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. That's one more war than Obama inherited, and which his successor will likely have to contend with. ...........

Obama = most debt

Quote:
...........

FY 2009 - Even though the budget had already been approved, Congress approved emergency funding to stop the Great Recession. It added the first year's worth of spending from Obama's Economic Stimulus Act to the FY 2009 budget. That $253 billion accrues to Obama.
FY 2010 - Obama's first budget created a $1.587 trillion deficit, the largest in history.
FY 2011 - It contributed $1.3 trillion to the debt.
FY 2012 - The deficit was $1.087 trillion.
FY 2013 - This was the first Obama budget where the deficit, $679 billion, was less than $1 trillion. Thank sequestration, which forced a 10% cut in spending.
FY 2014 - The deficit was $485 billion.
FY 2015  - The deficit fell further, to $438 billion.
FY 2016 - The deficit is expected to be $600 billion
Current Budget - The deficit is projected to be $441 billion.

When the deficits from all these budgets are added together, President Obama increased the debt by $6.616 trillion. ..........
