A simple majority of votes wins and does not disenfranchise voters the way it does. If for example Clinton's majority of votes was spread evenly across every state she would have won EVERY SINGLE COLLEGE VOTE. Equally, a candidate with a vastly inferior number of votes can win the college. AND IN FACT, DID.
