That campaigning style isn't any different from other parties. Whether he will deliver or not, we will need to wait and see. He's already made issues that were off limits talking points. This is his major achievement thus far.
Just delivering on his tax policies will add 10 trillion to the US deficit in the next two terms, according to Moodys and Standard & Poors.
Apart from health policies that are "really, really good", Trump campaigned on massive tax cuts - halving company tax and cutting all income taxes. Add massive spending on protectionist policies like subsidies to manufacturers, and Trump's policies have been calculated to raise the US debt to 100% of GDP by 2020.
The big hole is Trump's really, really good health insurance policy, which prior to Obamacare was predicted to blow the deficit out even further. And then there's the Mexican wall - a policy that, unlike his promised infrastructure projects - will add nothing to GDP or economic growth.
Trump has two choices: to break all his promises, or break the bank.
