I dont see social media as a communications revolution, I view it as a product of mass consumption cleverly marketed by multi nationals at the young much like cigarettes were and now becoming inter generationally accepted and utilised for political and other advertising purposes.

OK... But how does that not make it  a communications revolution?

yes, but one that is driving us into 'lower consciousness".

heres how humans work NoN, discovered from years of observing how "laziness addiction" destroys lives.

The auto plants in america start to come under pressure.Guys are losing their jobs. Now Micheal Moore could come in and say "hay fellas, you need to improve, learn new skills, study, work hard"  or he can come in and say "you poor guys stuck in a durrrrr state, you are victims, you should feel sorry for yourself, dont change, just get emotional".

So there is an example of a leftie feeding the lower consciousness and laziness addiction.

Now fast forward to Trump, circa 2016.
He could say "fellas, we need everyone to work hard, invent stuff, study, get off of facebook and twitter and improve". But again, he just feeds that victim mentality. he blames the establishment, he manipulates emotions.
Its the same "sh*t".

The new communications thru social media are lower consciousness, they feed into the Durrr state, they are designed for the person addicted to laziness.

Remember i said for every hour of pontificating, you want to be doing 3 hours of taking "massive action".
people wont do that any more.  They can create a fake life on line and take no action and still feed their ego. This is just plain lower consciousness living.

Remember i said being born pretty or rich is paradoxically a disadvantage.
A rich young girl can just post pics of herself on instagram and sit around getting likes for validation.
She probably has a perfectly functioning brain but it is just too hard to go to uni and get validation for studying when you can get it online.

And a lazy little toxic worm can sit in his basement and watch porn...the list goes on.

the internet is making us stupider and lazier.
the consumption of fast food has people in a brain fog .
laziness is destroying lives.

Moore and Trump are just smart enough to be aware of what people have become....addicted to laziness and following the path of least resistance.

People stuck in laziness addiction, fatties, angry welfare recipients, victim groups, non - contributing rich people....they are lost now. They have wandered too far off the narrow road to success. They cannot find their way back.

they are like drug addicts , they are addicted to laziness and bad food and lower consciousness living to such an extent that they will burn jobs, burn relationships, end up homeless and friendless to feed this addiction.

Only one thing can get them out of this state....a massive shock to the system. as long as they can be fed and watered, they wont change. You will now need something of the order of greece but much worse to shock people out of this laziness addiction.
Only a major shake up can provide the evolutionary pressure to get them back on track.
We arent there yet, but we are getting there  Wink

I'd still say it about TV now.
Go and buy a book by Dickens and give it to fat Steve who is sitting on the couch next to his fat wife and tell him to turn off "married at first sight" and read a chapter.
His brain literally will not be able to do it.
Wink Wink Wink.

You have to have a rational paranoia about failure NoN.

Look around you, are most people "living the dream " Wink

my prediction is that we will need a war to shake people out of the Durrr state. I try to keep my family out of the Durrrr state but most of the rest of you feckers just cant vibe with trying to get out of lower consciousness.
People "could" but they wont.
And the universe will always send you the lessons you need to 'evolve".
people wont try to climb unless forced to and only a war will get them off of the titillation and self stimulation of the lower consciousness addictions .
This seems to be the most likely outcome

Looking for a root cause of that ...

Dickens? weight? The name Steve? marriage? fat wife? dyslexia? ADHD? ....?

Ahhh... The dream! The one where we all thought we'd be millionaires by 40?

Anthropomorphizing the universe is a dangerous externalisation of one's human condition...

It's, in effect, a substitute for belief in god... In fact, it's barely a substitute as much as it is claptrap New Age nomenclature for god and betrays New Age as religion reprocessed for those who have stopped believing in something, are terrified by believing in nothing and so return to religion and god after a 'trek in the Himalayas', a change of wardrobe and a redefinition of themselves as 'spiritual' as opposed to 'religious'...

Fat steve is the man in lower consciousness...he is most people nowadays...he is the product of lazy decisions.

The dream is not to be a millionaire.
You wont feel any better by "getting' a million dollars.
You feel better for the person you become on the journey.
Is that "new age clap trap".
as someone who has done it, i can tell you its just a fact  Wink Wink

Then more power to you !

And, no, the fact of one's success is not per se "new age claptrap"

Now... About that 'loan' !

spiritual people who are attached to their "new found spirituality" are in lower consciousness in the same way that a rich guy who is attached to his "porche and his rolex " is.
Its the same "sh*t".

OK, the universe analogy is stupid.
But there are lessons to be learnt .
And you have to be in higher consciousness to learn them.

We started this conversation talking about twitter and facebook.
May i suggest you read the book "the shallows"..how the internet is making you dumb.

Do you not think "war" is a possible outcome of people refusing to evolve into a higher paradigm.
I think we could all become more self actualised and give up our egos, but like i said, i think laziness addiction will prevent this. And i think that evolution demands it and so there will be a consequence for people becoming lazier and refusing to engage.  the universe isnt conspiring to do this. We, through our mental torpor are doing it to ourselves. Fat steve is going down in terms of evolution.
he is becoming a "less evolved life form" and that is not how this system works.
he will get pressure put on him and he will not cope as well as if he had that "rational paranoia" i spoke about.

if you want to read more on "rational paranoia" then study the failure of Blackberry as outlined in the book "built to last".  if you dont continually assume that failure is the norm, you just dont get how this world works . Wink

The Shallows - the movie (not seen it), The Shallows - The Tim Winton novel (read it)... Seems its a popular metaphor!

War is the ugly and an (unfortunately) ineradicable expression of the human condition and is always about power and money.

But don't glorify it or wish it on anyone for any reason.

Sadly, the internet doesnt have to make us dumb but thats what happening for a lot of people. Imagine having access to the greatest repository and source of knowledge in the history of mankind, in fact almost the sum total of human knowledge at your fingertips. I think Aqua is right, we are evolving into 2 different species, fat Steve and smart Steve. Smart Steve is getting smarter by using this tool to evolve and fat Steve is getting fatter, lazier and dumber. If you dont believe this look at some of the debates on this and other forums every day, the simplest scientific concepts are not known or understood by allegedly university educated people but rather than obtain the information which is at their fingertips thereby making them more knowledgable they will argue, connive and use any other means to dispute the simplest of facts. These people are indeed getting dumber and lazier.

Indeed.

You, for example, believe that skin cancer is caused by heat.

Really, Fat Steve?  Really?
