India. India has little kids who beg for a living. Scumbags get kids and cut their arms off etc so people give them money. Some Indians kill people so they can sell their organs. Indian women have to produce a dowry and loads of Indian men get the money and whack the woman. Plus honour killings. Woman aren't even allowed to marry out of their village or caste in many cases. No offence aussie, but it's a well known fact that India has a very troubling human rights reputation. Comparing Australia and India is wrong.

It is very sad, I know, but females should NOT go running/jogging alone. Day or Evening!

I have seen too many "Disappeared" episodes about single females going for their daily jog in ordinary "safe" environments ( a couple of "domestics" a year) never to be seen again ... until, eventually, if that, their body is discovered dumped on the side of the road like a bag of garbage.

FEMALES are NOT safe anywhere since males, regardless of their upbringing, seem to think females are "game" ...

Oh and why are they calling rape "sexual abuse"? RAPE is rape. Forceful intercourse ... is this the PC brigade trying to downgrade a CRIMINAL OFFENCE again?

Yeas, I have heard allegations that poor parents have deformed their children so they are more appealing in their begging. Not sure how accurate those allegations are.

The 'dowry' was paid by the Brides Family. Ridiculous custom. I have never seen an Indian Man whack a woman. I have seen plenty of Australian men whacking and even have read of them killing women at an alarming weekly rate.

1. Mr Aussie is married to an INDIAN ... presumably born in England, but not necessarily so.

2. Mr Aussie, IF he has actually had a visit to INDIA would not have seen how the natives live, since his INDIAN WIFE is "English" and undoubtedly brought up when India was BRITISH.

3. She is still dark skinned and no matter what sort of British background she came from ... mixed marriages are still a no no in genteel society.

My daughter is a good looking girl..she can tell you how bad it is..she has been harrassed and chased by these creeps..having to run down side streets to escape and it is escape, when you have to run for your life,, going home from work or out getting exercise..my daughters running routine used to have me wracked with worry..I even told her dress in baggy clothes, cover your hair so they can't identify you as female.. that a mother should have to say that to her daughter is bad enough..but even worse is to have a cop turn up at your door and ask you come indentify her body, which is /was a real worry for me..

Jesus Christ, that really is appalling. That is just so wrong. It's not how Australia is supposed to be.

No girl or woman should be without her mobile phone, and the police should snap to attention quick-smart whenever a call comes in from some female being stalked or harassed on the streets.

It's not acceptable in a civilised society.

Corporal punishment should be brought back for these bastards - Singapore fashion.
