North, i always found "thinking" over rated.
So, rather than admit your inability to 'think', you rationalise that it is not really desirable...
if 'thinking" and "mentally masturbating" prevents "taking action", then it is not desirable.
How do you become a self actualised fully functional human being....by taking action, falling down, getting back up , learning lessons, applying those lessons, staying true to the processes you have found work.
You cannot and will not go anywhere in "thought".
In fact, google, facebook and microsoft agree with me and are paying for their "creative' employees to do sessions of meditation. and do them every day.
meditation involves "emptying the mind of thought". it is from this place that creativity emerges.
You are smart enough to understand paradox, i am sure NoN.
i shant respond to longweekends derision of my ideas.
I have strong personal boundaries.
My "inner cheerleaders" are all on my team and i do not engage in meaningless to and fro negativity. "Action" has taught me that this would just fuel a downward spiral
It takes a special kind of stupid to decry 'thinking' and merely responsive action.
Your 'inner cheerleaders' are not what you think they are. (consider schizophrenia for instance)
