Have the snowflakes finally left the building?

OMG what a relief that would be.

Never in the history of human debate has so much credibility been lost by so many so fast.
Never has  so much hysteria, petulance and childishness been on display by a defeated rabble of neurotic zombies.

Agnes?
Marla?
NorthbyNorth?
Greg?
Et all?

You're trolling a bit there old fella!

But, as a Trump supporter (such that a non-citizen can be a supporter of any foreign country's candidates for president), but now that you're asking, from out of the 'why', I'm asking the 'how'...

It's now a universal motif for Trump supporters, from every socioeconomic rank, racial and gender divide to respond to 'Why?' with permutations of 'I wanted to send the message to the establishment that I wanted change'.

Nothing, it seems, not even their '3:00 AM terrors' that Trump may present a mortal threat to the state (and most supporters will admit at least to profound 'misgivings'), could derail their resolution that they were not voting for the man as they were voting for change... Any change.

In that, even Bernie Sanders could quite probably have won the election for the Democrats, because people, who no longer believe in something, do not believe in nothing, they believe in anything... Even something as nebulous and dangerous as change for its own sake.

Those who voted for Trump as a result of their dire economic situation in the so-called rust-belt states, blaming the exodus of jobs and industry to China and Mexico on the Chinese and Mexicans, should also take into account, of course, that the Chinese and Mexicans didn't steal US jobs... They were given to them by Americans and the only way Trump could have them returned is by morphing into a latter-day New Dealer...

If that happens, it will be the greatest irony (or U-turn) in US political history...

He (like Roosevelt before him) will need to 'punish the economic royalists'.

So the very best Trump supporters can hope for now is that Trump reveals himself as that latter day 'New Dealer' who will emerge from his narcissistic fog, see the need for a hard swing, not to the right, but to the left (as Roosevelt did when he asked for, and received from Congress, powers as great as that would be given to him, if the US was invaded) and become, like Roosevelt, the hard 'leftist' the establishment (or his supporters) never saw coming.

Trump is a very "in your face " phenomenom.

When a scrubby citizen looks at Trump, he can but have 1 of 2 reactions.

he can say "this guy has accomplished a lot, he has batted way above what he should have been able to do. he has built businesses, pushed thru barriers, has a beautiful wife and kids....What would i have to do to be like Trump.

But the scrub is then met with the answer.....if i want to be like Trump, i would have to work my a*ss off, i would have to become a man of action, not a man of talk, i would have to take risks, not break under the brutal social pressure.  And i'm a mediocre scrub and that all just sounds too hard.

Do you know what the ego of the mediocre scrub does when confronted with this...it gets mad. It finds it SO MUCH EASIER to just sh*t talk the successful guy and get a little hit of validation from feeling "morally superior" when in fact, deep down, the mediocre scrub is doing this totally out of laziness.

Laziness addiction destroys more lives then cancer , heart disease and auto accidents. If you hate Trump and you cant work out why, this is probably the diagnosis.
I feel genuinely sorry for you, you are going to have  a low level refridgerator humm of hatred going on forever. Its not a good way to live. I'd suggest you study trump and aspire to be like trump and stop with the lazy hater frame you are coming from

Ironic that you make a claim about laziness by posting a lazy ad-hom opinion...

You're not much of a thinker beyond vacuous existential new-age lazy 'sloganism'...

How will a Trump Administration return off-shored jobs to the US, if not by some form of 'New Deal'?

And (something that Roosevelt never had to confront), how will a Trump Administration prevent US buyers from purchasing goods from overseas via internet buying sites like ebay?

it is increasingly evident that Trump will change very little because to make any change at all, he has to have some idea of how to do it and what to change it to. He has neither.

North, i always found "thinking" over rated.
Just take massive action. see what happens (failure or success), learn from it, recalibrate and move on.
Dont you find, society has become paralysed by people substituting thinking and talking for "doing".

People seem to expect massive applause and Kudos nowadays for thinking.

Action has become subservient to thought.
This is very dangerous and again reflects a certain timidity and softness in the beta male Intelligentsia

if 'thinking" and "mentally masturbating" prevents "taking action", then it is not desirable.

How do you become a self actualised fully functional human being....by taking action, falling down, getting back up , learning lessons, applying those lessons, staying true to the processes you have found work.

You cannot and will not go anywhere in "thought".

In fact, google, facebook and microsoft agree with me and are paying for their "creative' employees to do sessions of meditation.  and do them every day.
meditation involves "emptying the mind of thought". it is from this place that creativity emerges.

You are smart enough to understand paradox, i am sure NoN.

i shant respond to longweekends derision of my ideas.
I have strong personal boundaries.
My "inner cheerleaders" are all on my team and i do not engage in meaningless to and fro negativity. "Action" has taught me that this would just fuel a downward spiral  Wink

What is "mental masturbation" such that you think you can conflate it with 'thinking"?

You know that ignorance itself (which is ameliorated only by the ability to think) has been, since ancient times, a form or a font of evil?
