Another reason for threatening a recount is simply to boost the Democrat losers' sagging morale

However, the Democrats now have a problem, two distinct camps, Bernie supporters, and Clinton supporters

The Clinton supporters are really Democrat voters' and don't care about Clinton so much as they care about Obama's globalist philosophy, so they'll be looking for another leader who can win over voters on that philosophy

This will clash with Bernie's policies, his supporters were pretty adamant Bernie had the goods

It wouldnt be a REpublican if it wasnt complaining about recounts - as in 2000.

But seriously, does anyone in Australia complain or take legal action AGAINST recounts? A hand recount is considered one of the basic protections against miscounts and are routinely done here if the margin is small.

It reflects on the character of people that oppose free and open recounts. it smells of opposing democracy, honest and transparency. If I were trump I would take the opportunity to look magnanimous and Presidential but supporting the recount knowing there was .0001% chance anything would change. But then again, I am clearly a bit more generous and open than Herr Trump.

Of course they should count. But even more importantly is that they count for the candidate they ACTUALLY voted for. Hence a recount.
