The point is not that jobs will never be lost in the US. The point is that you cannot sacrifice US jobs, move offshore and then sell back tariff free.

Trump is not that different to Sanders on this:

Priority of trade deals should be helping American workers

Multinational corporations- who have helped to write most of these trade deals--have benefited greatly while millions of American jobs have been shipped overseas. American trade policy should place the needs of American workers and small businesses first.
