Oh Yes
'.......... Companies are NOT going to leave the United States without consequence............'
Boy howdy! Trump did nothing more than make another lame publicity stunt made possible by a bribe paid to Carrier. Carrier is fully committed to offshoring its production and will do so. ALL of the jobs "saved" will be gone within 2 years.
You gullible Trumptard hippies. Keep on posting your crap.
Well, they can start selling into Cuba, then.
The point is not that jobs will never be lost in the US. The point is that you cannot sacrifice US jobs, move offshore and then sell back tariff free.
Trump is not that different to Sanders on this:
There are many corporations who have turned their backs on the American worker, who have said, if I can make another nickel in profit by going to China and shutting down in the United States of America, that's what I will do. I will do my best to transform our trade policy and take on these corporations who want to invest in low-income countries around the world rather than in the United States of America.
Priority of trade deals should be helping American workers
Bernie Sanders believes that the top priority of any trade deal should be to help American workers. Unfortunately, as Bernie has warned year after year, American trade policy over the last 30 years has done just the opposite. Multinational corporations- who have helped to write most of these trade deals--have benefited greatly while millions of American jobs have been shipped overseas. American trade policy should place the needs of American workers and small businesses first.

That's how stupid you are.
I look forward to Trump trying to put import tariffs on Apple products. Apple will simply donate enough of its $150B IN CASH to demolish republicans next time around and/or move to canada and cost Trump about $50B a year in taxes.
And can you imagine the size of the backlash if Apple products were made 45% more expensive in USA?
