Saying, "not that there's anything wrong with it" doesn't mitigate using homexuality as a put down.

I've made sure my 14 year old son knows I will love him, regardless of whether he turns out gay or straight.

Yeah, this thing where forum members accuse each other of homosexuality is juvenile. And yet we can assume that most are adult males. It actually says more about the poster making the accusation. Even as an insult, its pretty lame. It may indicate a frustration with their inability to compose a meaningful critique, therefore descending into invective they hope might slander the character of their opponents without evidence. I do not support the homosexual agenda, but it has its human context, and spitting out "Homo!" like a hissing cat, is hardly the sign of intelligence.

Was it Sprint? Redneck was having a sly dig at the conservative view of sexual relations. In as much he used this kid's suicide for a cheap political point while also showing his true feelings towards gay people ie contempt. Let's all applaud his backflip when he cops flak for it!
