The white working class thought they were going to be better off under Trump.

How long before the natives revolt when they realize that under Clinton they would have gotten a higher minimum wage and more secure health care, two things that Trump will take away?

The white working class does get one thing, and only one thing, a chance to give the finger to the establishment, but that satisfaction will wear thin quickly.

To Trump's credit, he is softening and taking a magnanimous approach, but at the same time annoying the White Nationalists that helped bring him to office.

People who are stuck in their heads (many leftard intellectuals) think that people will respond to logic but the lesson for them is to learn some social intelligence.
People do not, will not and never have responded to logical arguements about who to form a relationship with (in this case the follower-leader relationship).
They respond to emotions.

A guy who gets his elbows down deep in the mud will understand the emotional state of his fellow citizens.

A woman who surrounds herself with academics will not.

If we look at the phillipines and the love for Duterte we see a guy who , like trump, personifies this.
A 70 yo who goes out with a handgun at night hunting criminals and tossing their bodies in manila bay.
is this a logical thing for a leader to do?
perhaps not.
But it taps the right emotions.

Hilary and the left simply lack this understanding of their fellow man/woman and they paid the price for their ignorance.  the correct response would be a period of deep self reflection and adjustment. This is what a business man like trump would do if a business went sour. he would learn the lessons and come back stronger.
but a leftie does not run a business and finds self reflection very challenging. They tend to lash out when they get it wrong rather then be humble and learn and grow.
Greg should really be humbled by this result and should be asking for the guidance of Bogarde and Sprint so he can learn and grow,
This is not likely to happen and growth becomes impossible for the leftie intellectual who is stuck in his own head.

Why did Trump win so handsomely

His supporters hacked the election voting machines
