While Obama has continued to electioneer against Trump - and we know how little he cares about traditions - Joe Biden has shown that he is a Democrat of the old school.

While welcoming Pence & family to their new home at the Naval Observatory, he told the press he was sure they were leaving the WH in good hands and had no worries on that score.
He said also that the new team ran on an agenda and it was to be expected they would change some of the things that had been done.

Referring back to his time as chairman of the senate foreign relations committee, he said he would be available to the new VP 24/7 for any advice he might seek.

Now isn't that the way politics should be done.
