There is a demographic in the USA named "the Cultural Creatives" who are highly educated, culturally progressive, live in large cities, often vote Democratic and are JOB CREATORS.

This demographic overwhelmingly voted for Hillary. Trump represents Rural America, the ones who need jobs.  Do you see the problem? The class that creates jobs doesn't like Trump.

Trump is no dummy. His kids are even smarter and, in fact, represent the Cultural Creatives, which is why I think the Trump Kids aren't going to let Daddy alienate the very class of people America needs most.

The creative class is different from the social justice warrior, although they may share some political objectives. The creative class, as you indicate, creates things. They will go on creating regardless of who is president. (However, they need assistance from the wealthy in order to sell whatever it is they created). The SJW, in contrast, creates nothing. In fact, it is a destroyer. Its aim is to make the majority loath their culture, their history and themselves. Their ideal is a decrepit, cretinous, self-hating, neurotic, overly-emotional cry baby, who creates nothing.

Look where your neo-Marxist and Foucauldian 'analysis' has gotten you. Nowhere. No matter how many 'critiques' you engage in, you can't create the utopian paradise. Suck it up.

Karnal fancies himself as a 'cultured despiser'. As is North.

Well I think Trumps real problem is that he admitted to sexual assault paying no tax and ripping off his contractors. He is a self confessed grub. A genuine problem I would think

The Machine that has been "manufacturing consent", and who put up Hillary as its candidate against The Bern, the other anti-consensus candidate, has been broken and it will not be restored. Trump has destroyed the Republican/Democratic manufactured consent, the politically correct 'current truth'.  Trump, almost single handedly, has destroyed the republican Party and most probably the Democratic Party. Progressives should thank him.

But of course 'progressives', 'cultural creatives' ARE the Machine, the manufacturers of consent through political correctness. They have infested both the Republican and the Democratic Parties and are now rejected.

That is why this is Brexit x 10.

Yes we should all thank Trump. Got to be the most amazing presidential candidate of all time.
He had not only the Democrats against him but much of the Republicans and press that distorted and twisted every non PC word he made. Furthermore not one dollar of corporate money.

BTW.  Can anyone tell me what it is to be "progressive" in a political sense? I mean where are the "progressives" progressing to? What is their goal or goals?
I guess its just another bs political term to mean anything you want it to - like "national security".

"thank"?  No.

He deserves to be congratulated, though.

It was a mighty effort.

Nobody has anything to thank Trump for.

Well, progs should thank him for almost single handedly destroying the smug Republican Party and the thinking demographic should thank him thank and also for giving a mighty helping hand to the Democrats in their efforts at self-destruction.

Where are you progressing to, Karnal? How will you know you have arrived to what you are progressing towards? What is your aim, goal, ideal. You have none.

You are not progressives, you are the 'cultured despisers'.

I aim only to love thee, old boy.

There is no goal to progress to, dear. We possess everything we need already. Love, joy, cultured despisers.

We are, you see, the children of G-d. You, I, all.

We are all one, no?

Clear case of envy.
I am sure that everyone who was involved in supplying Labor, Materials and Financing were glad to be part of building these "monstrosities".

Rich people sometimes buy big ticket items like Planes, Yachts and Vacation Homes that they just "Wish" into existence. It is not like someone had to be employed from raw materials to finished product.

You make a valid point Frank. Nicolas Nassim Taleb has coined a phrase for a subset of the Creative Class: IYI  (intellectual yet idiot).
