No. The majority of American voters didn't want Clinton as their President, it was only about 47% - but it does appear that slightly more American voters wanted Clinton than Trump.

Slightly more reassuring is the fact that about 60 million American voted for Trump, out of a population of over 300 million - ie - only about 20% of Americans actually voted for him.

(Yes, I know that total population includes those too young to vote, but only about 50% of the electorate actually bothered to vote - so it still indicates that significantly more people didn't vote for Trump than did. That provides a small ray of hope that the USA is not completely overrun by ignorant bigots just yet...)
