They are not desecrating a grave.

They are glorifying it.

You do know who's grave it is,  don't you?

I rest my case

It's not much of a case. Obama inherited an economy in deep recession and on the verge of DEPRESSION. To have fixed that and created a now growing economy is a massive acheivement. Yes, it cost money, but trying to not spend money is what made the great depression last ten years. Spending money is what ended it.

You Aussies are obsessed with this election.

OBSESSED

If Trump screws the american economy - as he would - or if he destablised the geopolitical state of the planet - which he would - you think it wouldnt affect us?

We are both obsessed and fascinated in how the USA gets to vote for one of the most unliked candidates and the least qualified candidates.

Not sure of your point, but the Great Depression showed that you actually can spend your way out of one. The problem is what comes next which should be paying down the debt... which doesnt always happen - here included.

I'm just saying its more a leftist view in terms of spending but you are right, it has worked. Even Howard said he agreed with Rudds measure, he just wouldnt have spent so much.

Boy how lucky is that, we've found one of the 35 credible voter frauds out of 800 million votes in the last 16 years.

Or, as with the Great Depression.......World War II, which lifted America out of the depression.

George W Bush votes 'None of the Above' for president
Neither George W Bush nor his father George HW Bush, both former Republican presidents, have chosen to endorse Donald Trump, a spokesman has told Reuters news agency.

George W Bush and his wife, Laura, "voted 'None of the Above' for president", spokesman Freddy Ford said in an email. Mr and Mrs Bush did vote for Republicans in down-ballot races.
