I had my niece over at the weekend, and I was reminded of how a tertiary education had opened up opportunities for her which otherwise would not have been available.

You've got a good brain, Marla, and now it only remains that you use it to best advantage to give yourself a fulfilling and interesting life while also being an asset to the community.

Very well done for sticking with those studies to finally make it to Graduation Day. I know from my niece what sacrifices she had to make in terms of self-discipline and imposts upon her free time as she struggled through those difficult years for the sake of a better future awaiting her.
