Rio isnt ready by a long shot.....what on earth did they expect... lets be honest....its been one thing after another....and now tourists are getting done over they even sent our pickpocket warnings a while back..

fancy a country that cant stop pickpockets given the Games in the first place.. if they cant stop pickpockets why would they stop terrorists..

We should see some great results from these olympics.

The marathon running from muggers and drug pushers should see record times.

Same with swimmers, they will set record times just to get out of the polluted water.

Javiln, the would have to spear all the criminals.

Discuss and hammer throw, might not be any results as the discus and hammers would be stolen.

Weight lifters would have to be quick, before the weights were stolen

And the bike races would end up walking to the finish line after all the bikes were pinched

Will be an interesting olympics thats for sure

It's always like this. Every year when F1 goes to São Paulo there is it least one story of someone in the Grand Prix community (mechanic, driver, etc) getting held up. In 2010 a gang even tried to abduct the reigning world champion. Just last week Ecclestone's mother-in-law was held to ransom. The country is a complete mess.

I said all of those negative comments above 4 years ago when they were given the games...

The first night we were there some years back, there was an attempted robbery around the corner with shots fired...

This was on Copacabana Beach...

Next day.. kids pull knife on a man on the beach emptying out his wallet...

And the list goes on...

We were warned to use the safes in the Hotel Rooms as not even staff can be trusted..

We were not to wear any sort of jewellery or any form...

Walk in large groups etc etc

I had my own incident as well...

The place is magnificent... make no mistake... you've seen my pictures of the girls Wink

But hell... this is going to be a train wreck...

A lot of things are not even being reported or being covered up already...

I saw a headline somewhere that a kiwi athlete was kidnapped??
