you called him slow because you disagreed with him on a political matter. You weren't describing Phil and it had nothing to do with the discussion at the time, it was a totally irrelevant cheap shot because you felt cornered.

Emma on the other hand is describing how you sometimes come across to others on this forum. It didn't sound to me like she was trying to take a shot at you.

It's all about the context.

In response to Cods, I don't think that my post was abusive. As pointed out by others it was intended to help you understand why you get the negative posts you seem to. I said you CAN be etc etc, not that you are all the time, just that some of your posts are simply offensive and not always on topic, or defensible. I think most of us are guilty at some stage of this sort of thing, and it is up to you to be responsible for it, not being a victim all the time.
Because you sometimes DESERVE it.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

You seem to have missed my CONGRATULATIONS (and to Setanti (?) as well).

Moving threads to Relationships is a good place to "dump stuff". Freediver does it ALL the time. You need to ask Freediver WHY as NOBODY posts there, apart from the Usual Suspects. Wink

IF you can work out how to reinstate everybody to be able to post in Feedback, that would earn you Brownie Points. Wink

I understand from Freediver that it involves doing something to EACH Member's account and is not as "simple" as reinstating everybody in one fell swoop.

I think that, at the time, those who were involved in a "discussion" in Feedback that went off track ... they were individually "banned" from posting in Feedback. IF you have time (and energy) you might look into that .... many Members would be most grateful. Wink

Perhaps those Members who can't post in Feedback should let you know?

I've made it quite plain that I have complete confidence in their capacity to do a good job. I have also made it plain that Setanta, who did not want the job, ought to have handed it back knowing as he does that other credible candidates had sought the job. I've said that in private to him, and in public. I have not changed my view, but, that's Life.
