Personal abuse is not a problem.
It is merely another 'reference experience" from which one can improve oneself .0001%.
When abused, one should just reflect on the fact that one has to "draw state from within".
What does this mean?
It means that your mental "state" and the soundtrack playing in your head is your own personal responsibility.
It means , one should never hand over the "power" to another person to determine your mental "state".

A better way would be to say "draw happiness from within".

Petty BS type behaviours are "low vibration energy" and you dont want to get caught in low vibration energy as it will merely drag you down.

Nobody is universally liked and it is foolish to think that you would be "happy" if everyone liked you.

The only person everyone seems to like is Mark Wahlburg.

So, when abused, just go back to core principles

The 3 P's

Actually there are Lisa, they are listed for GMs to read on appointment. As I stated to Cods,and I am paraphrasing here as I don't have the exact writing, f she has a complaint then take it to a GM of her choice and it will be taken into account with rules, regulations and guidelines. Just because they cannot be seen by some posters does not mean they don't exist. There is also a very comprehensive code of conduct for GMs. That is also not in the public domain.

I just couldn't be bothered with an obvious (to me anyway) bait - that's why I didn't bother replying to the initial post

There are none Members can see, but I was wondering whether FD had, within the GMod secret talking Room, set out some 'regulations and guidelines.' If there are, then it probably greatly assist Members if we all were privy to them.

If they don't exist anywhere, why is it too hard for a GMod to simply say so and all this malarkey is avoided?

No bait, Big Vic, a genuine question. How many times do I have to say that I am literal. You can bet I mean simply what I say. There are no baits when such a simple, unambiguous and clear question is asked.

So......now you have confirmed what I suspected ~ there are other things written only GMods can see.....is it any wonder Members are totally confused?

Mere Members see nothing except the Rules, and they are clear and unambiguous. Elsewhere, and where enforcement is considered, those Rules are expanded or perhaps even watered down......but for some inexplicable reason, Members are not to know about it that.

That is just complete insanity, and it is no wonder people are thoroughly pissed off and frustrated with how the Rules are so inconsistently applied or not applied.

It would make life here much better for all, especially the GMods, if

everyone

knew all the Rules, regulations and guidelines.

Mr Hicks, in light of Big Vic's candid comments, would you care to withdraw your allegation of pedantry, when, obviously, as Big Vic has now made clear, I was quite correct. There are 'regulations and guidelines' Members heretofore knew nothing about.

Why?

The bloody last thing this forum needs is a GM, Global Modding everyone with 1 nic whilst retaining the potential to bait and abuse with other multi nics up their sleeve.

That's dirty, unfair and ought to be addressed out HERE IN THE OPEN IN FRONT OF ALL MEMBERS.
