Clearly I can read and comprehend just fine and I will say what I please. I am happy to give anyone a fair go but I don't see this inaugural post as giving Cods, or anyone else, a fair go and I expect more from a GMod.

Mind your own beeswax for once.

I won't go massively into the process but BigVic has been open and honest about his prior concerns on some posts.
What he did say and has repeated here is that should he have concerns he would put those to us and then action would be taken/ not taken.
That's the whole point of more than one moderator.
I also have full confidence the two guys who join us are sensible, rational guys who will fit in well.

Bias isn't showed as moderators and it won't be from now either.

Both guys will be super additions who I strongly supported through the process.

I have no problem with the person ... just the post.

With the amount of abuse and trolling that goes on here unhindered, singling Cods out like that on a personal level was not what I think is appropriate for a GMod to make as his first post.

It's all relative but I see it as totally inappropriate. We obviously all have differing standards.

Be fair, Black Orchid.....cods made several posts about her fear of being victimised by Big Vic, and I reckon his response was necessary and appropriate, even though I (and even you) may have worded it differently.

Jaybuz, who'd want to be appointed GMod here. I will never even consider it for two reasons. (a) All the vested interests come out and are critical, and (b) It would totally stuff your ability to post away as a Member.

Come on Setanta, tell the Forum the facts.

I've told you in PM about 4 times now Aussie, one of which I said go ahead and use it in the forum.

Here again for you. When users were asked to nominate themselves, I did not. I had private communications and expressed that I didn't think it was a job for me and offered a couple of people I thought may suit. I did say that if they couldn't find someone else, and were stuck, I'd give it a go. FD decided to draft me, that's the story.

What more do you want me to say?
