If there is the most tenuous link to Islam in this.....it may be a flash point.  I would be staying well away from Mosques for a while if I were in France.

Here's your tenuous link back to Islam.

Kermiche and his accomplice - also known to French police - forced 84-year-old Father Jacques Hamel to kneel before filming themselves butchering him and performing a 'sermon in Arabic' at the altar of the church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, according to witnesses.

There revered BBC is carrying this story at the top of the page. Seems they think it is important. But no mention of the fact that this is another MUZLIM atrocity. That kind of omission is consistent with their overall appeasement of Islam, and shows how close Islam in the West is to shutting down any criticism of the wonderful religion and its tactics spelled out in the Koran.

French President plays the Muslim card:

Link.

All we need now is for one of our right wing extreme nut jobs to attack a Mosque or worse, an Imam.

If Hollande said the perp was a Muzlim, I might agree with you. But he doesn't. He infers that IS is the problem. They are only part of it. The inspiration of IS is the problem. Its all in the Koran.

ISLAMIC law, and the Koran itself,
          ....repeatedly assert, that the [obedient] moslem,     whenever he has the means and power to do so,     will not passively permit and allow, other persons,       .....to worship a God, who is not called 'Allah'.

Google;
jihad is the pinnacle of islam

QUESTION;
Australia!!!!
Why would we choose to afford a group of people [i.e. moslems] a general protection in law [e.g. Constitution, section 116],      ....simply because that group of people [i.e. moslems] assert and insist that they are members of a 'religious group', and therefore they must be afforded all protections in law, that are normally afforded to members of a religious group ???

QUESTION;
Why, afford followers of ISLAM, a special protection in law,    ....when many of the protocols of that 'religion' [ISLAM], call for their followers to engage criminal violence against anyone who does not believe, as they believe ?

Affording such a protection [in law], to a group of people who follow a philosophy like ISLAM,        .....is insanity, imo !!!

Quote:

Every moslem in Australia [and indeed, every moslem on the planet], by self declaring as a moslem, is self declaring a criminal intent [by our laws] against local non-moslems.

- Yadda

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him;...."
Koran 3.85

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)."
Koran 9.123

"Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain:...."
Koran 9.111

"There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone"....."
Koran 60:4

CRIMINAL INTENT, IN THE MOSLEM HEART

ISLAM is a criminal compact among moslems, to wage a violent 'religious' war against non-moslems ['disbelievers'].

.....Basically, fundamentally, all ISLAMIC doctrine translates as enmity, and encourages [criminal] violence, towards ALL non-moslems.

QUESTION;
What about the innocent moslems ?

IMO, [logically] there are no innocent moslems [among persons who have come to the age of consent], and yet still declare themselves to be moslems.

How so [logically] ?

QUESTION;
How credible is it that a person who is devout enough to insist that he is a moslem, is unaware of what ISLAM promotes, and is unaware of what the principle tenets of ISLAM are ?

QUESTION;
How 'innocent' is a person who agrees to give aid and comfort [and to give their own 'power'],      ...to a philosophy which transforms human beings, into homicidal maniacs ?

QUESTION;
How 'innocent' is a person who agrees to give aid and comfort [and to give their own 'power'],     ...to a philosophy which claims that murdering, in the cause of religious bigotry, is a religious virtue ?

Yadda, "Why afford protection etc etc"?
Good question.

Probably two answers.

First we had "Enlightenent" which engendered the progression of liberal philosophy, including the principle of tolerance.

Second, The Enlightenment, funnily enough, was soon followed by several centuries of religious wars that left deep scars in the European tradition and reinforced again the wisdom of tolerance AMONG OURSELVES.

And now we are hung up on tolerance to the extent that it includes those who wish to kill us, as well as those who wish to undermine the foundations of a civilised society in many ways.
