Labor sliding even faster to DISASTER!!!!
Jul 24th, 2016 at 5:00pm

Failed "leader" Shorty guarantees Labor will remain in opposition for the next 20 years after his disastrous rearranging of the deck chairs on the ALP Titanic.

As predicted the Gillard Clone the misognisty Plibersek has been banished to the kitchen to perform domestic duties.

The Dream Team's idea of education is full on FABIAN Socialist reducing education to just brainwashing with stuff such as dumbing down our Australian kiddies by sabotaging their education with Greenie style Queer rubbish and Socialist brainwashing.

Get set for open warfare between the Carr and Albo crazy lefty factions.

Will Wenny Pong start making overseas trips to the old country like Kruddy used to ?

...
One wonders if Shorty is a sitting duck squarely in the corrupt Commo unions sights ?

Bill Shorten hopes to make his mark on indigenous affairs as Labor leader, while his deputy Tanya Plibersek moves to head up the party's 'education dream team' in the new parliament.

The opposition leader unveiled his new 32-person front bench which includes fresh voices and eight women in the shadow cabinet.

'The challenge for Labor is that we've got more talented people than places to put them, which is the opposite to the government,' Mr Shorten told reporters in Canberra on Saturday.

Ms Plibersek will shift her focus to education and the status of women alongside Kate Ellis on early childhood education as well as Terri Butler, Andrew Giles, Doug Cameron and Jacinta Collins.

'No matter who you are, where you grow up ... a great education is the ticket to anything you want to achieve - it's a golden ticket,' Ms Plibersek said.

Senate leader Penny Wong will replace Ms Plibersek as spokeswoman on foreign affairs, following her stint covering trade.

Senator Stephen Conroy, who pundits have labelled hawkish over the South China Sea, is booted from defence and will turn his attention to being shadow special minister for state and sport.

Richard Marles will fill Senator Conroy's shoes, and Shayne Neumann is set to take over the immigration spokesman role.

Other big winners include Queensland rising star, 38-year-old Jim Chalmers (finance), western Sydney MP Michelle Rowland (communications), and ACT senator Katy Gallagher (small business) who all move into the shadow cabinet.

Mark Butler loses responsibility for the environment to Tony Burke, but he will retain climate change and gains energy.

Mark Dreyfus will add national security to his brief on top of his shadow attorney general duties but Mr Burke will take on arts.

Jason Clare becomes resources, northern Australia and trade spokesman.

Mr Shorten spared veteran left faction senator Kim Carr from being dumped, keeping him in cabinet in the industry and innovation portfolio.

After a poor election campaign performance David Feeney is relegated to the back bench while Amanda Rishworth takes on veterans affairs.

Former NSW state Labor minister Linda Burney, who is the first Aboriginal woman appointed to the lower house, has been parachuted onto the front bench and will be human services spokeswoman.

Mr Shorten will personally take on the indigenous affairs portfolio, with the 'father of reconciliation', WA senator Pat Dodson, as his assistant.

Chris Bowen remains shadow treasurer and Catherine King retains health, after campaigning hard on the issue of Medicare during the election lead up.

Also in Labor's economic team are Andrew Leigh (competition and productivity) and Sam Dastyari (consumer affairs) - but both will be paid as backbenchers because the rules only allow 30 to be paid the higher rate. Mr Leigh is forced to suck up a pay cut.

Others keeping their portfolios are Jenny Macklin (family services), Anthony Albanese (infrastructure), Brendan O'Connor (employment and workplace relations), Joel Fitzgibbon (agriculture)

Reddy,

it's good to see you Lefties are still alive and well, at least for the moment, until Pauline gets stuck into you.

Wonder where my cheer squad Poor Stunned is ? Her support is most welcome.

Greenies_Lose,

U R getting a bit ahead of yourself as the dust has not even settled on the current election and Pauline has not started to whip Australia into shape.

But a confident prediction is that the endangered Greenies heading towards extinction will get only about 1% of the vote from the inner city drug addicts who like the Greenies' idea of making addictive drugs available on Medicare.

Bit of a fizzer wasn't he ? It's because he is such a dork he frightens little old ladies.

Now Now Greenies_Lose,

I know you are very disappointed with the very poor showing of your Greenies but, just having a go at at the poster who simply states the TRUTH about your failed "Party", won't change a thing and is actually a nice endorsement for my effectiveness at exposing the sick diseased Greenies treacherous plot of trying to destroy Australia.

And the BowerBird is already claptrapping on about such irrelevancies as "marriage" between queers.

No surprise the permanently focused on irrelevant trivialities ALP lost the election.

Of course, what this is all about, is Labor trying to win the queer vote because everyone knows the normal straight Australians, who feel like vomiting anytime this queer "marriage" disgusting stuff is mentioned, will STRONGLY REJECT IT.

Parliament should decide gay marriage: Bowen

Click to see video on Parliament should decide gay arriage, Bowen

http://www.skynews.com.au/video/news/politics/2016/07/24/parliament-should-decid...

...

Shadow treasurer Chris Bowen says the debate on whether to hold a plebiscite on same-sex marriage is overshadowing the push to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in the constitution.

The government promised to hold a national vote on whether the marriage act should changed as well a referendum on Indigenous recognition within the next term of parliament.

Mr Bowen told Sky News that while politicians are debating on whether to allow a plebiscite, the push for Indigenous recognition is stalling.

'I think we're focusing on the wrong way on the wrong issues,' Mr Bowen said.

'The parliament should be deciding marriage equality, the people should be deciding Indigenous recognition in the constitution and while we're having this debate about the plebiscite we're not progressing the matter of Indigenous recognition in the constitution.'

'I think that's a shame.'

The Labor frontbencher refused to confirm whether his party would support the enabling legislation needed for a plebiscite to go ahead.

'It's a remarkable circumstance that the prime minister of Australia can't exercise his view on this matter and have a free vote, which we all know that is his view.'

'Well then obviously, the shadow cabinet will consider the situation.'

However, the government's Attorney-General George Brandis says the only way same-sex marriage can be legalised now is via a plebiscite.

He told ABC the plebiscite will be held before the end of the year but if that's not possible it will be early next year.

'I think if the political leaders can take the politics out of this, if Mr Shorten and the Labor party can resist the temptation to try and use this as an opportunity to embarrass the government.

Greenies_Lose,

it is good to see you are firing on about one and a half cylinders.

Let it all hang out to release your frustration and anger.

Another failed thread by Juliar.

Would like to see empirical data on whether truly lab is sliding, but i guess it's like finding evidence of the yeti.  There isn't any.  Again, reduced to just opinions by a lib supporter.

I have stopped replying to Jules - her mantra, which once was entertaining and a good laugh has now become predictable - there are better flunkies to listen too

But, on the subject of Mal's close win the the election, the key point is what is he going to do about that rampant senate?   Although I guess in most laws and legislations etc, Labor and the Coalition will combine to pass them - things like pollies pay rises and entitlements come to mind.

But, on the more important things, Labor -"sliding even faster to disaster" (OP ,not me) can and should just sit back and let the Coalition wine and dine what is an eclectic and multi facetted senate.   Needing to woo 9 out of the 10 non major senators will be a joy to watch as Malcolm and Eric bend and scrape to fulfil their bidding, pork barrelling electorates, caving in to personal demands and just being the 2nd place getter in the race.

So happy Labor aren't really involved in all this and can sit back and watch on

Geez,

I've really got ye olde Lefties revved up.

But faced with Labor's even faster slide to disaster what could they possibly come up with in Labor's defense ?

Much easier to abuse that awful poster who drew attention to Labor's even faster slide to disaster.

Never mind Lefties things can only get worse for you as the full import of Shorty's latest disaster is explored and exposed.

It is reassuring to see poor stunned supporting my hard hitting exposure of the TRUTH.

Eventually the Lefties will realize that having a go at me is about as effective as criticizing the Nations New Hero Pauline.

The fundamental flaw made by the corrupt Commo unions that control Labor was to KEEP the obviously FLAWED SHORTY who is simply unelectable!!!

Why the Labor Party is fundamentally flawed.

The Labor Party is the political arm of the Unions; that is it succinctly and accurately stated.

They are owned by the Unions.

MPs are selected by the Unions.

Labor is funded by the Unions.

Shorten and MPs take direction from the Unions.

The Unions tell them what to say and when to say it.

Shorten and MPs can be sacked by the Unions.

Yes, the same Unions who came out so badly at the TURC.

Same thing applies in Victoria - Andrews is a puppet of the Unions.

At the TURC, it was proven in evidence that Shorten and the Union took cash handouts from employers rather than agree to grant pay and condition improvements for the workers.

At both Clean Event and Chicquita Mushrooms.

And they were just the ones that came up in evidence.

But as the Royal Commissioner said, he just did a sampling exercise; there were undoubtedly many more of these under the table arrangements which were, of course, never disclosed to the workers who would have been dismayed to have been sold out by the Union who were supposed to be representing their interests.

Forty pieces of silver - the parables continue.

The problem is that Labor consists of brown nosing puppets of the unions who are promoted to beyond their ability - hence their mediocre performance.

Now with the disreputable Greenies in disgrace and about to disappear and Labor consumed with infighting for the next 20 years and Pauline supporting Mal Australia's future looks bright indeed.
