Vehicle crashes into crowd in Nice, France, during Bastille Day celebrations

LIVEUpdated 4 mins ago

A TRUCK has ploughed into a crowd in Nice in an apparent terror attack, killing at least 73 people, at Bastille Day celebrations.

The Mayor of Nice said “dozens” had been killed. But French media is now reporting at least 73 have died.

There were reports that hostages were being held in a hotel in the city, but French police have denied this is the case.

Britain’s Sky News is reporting that the truck driver — has been shot and killed by police after firing into the crowd.

Police reportedly exchanged gunfire with several other gunmen holed up inside the truck.

The incident happened on the city’s famed Promenade des Anglais during a fireworks display for Bastille Day celebrations.

A witness told CNN the driver accelerated as he mowed people down.

Video on social media shows people running for their lives.

Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi has urged residents to stay indoors. “The driver of a van appears to have killed dozens. Stay in your homes for now. More info to follow,” mayor Christian Estrosi wrote on Twitter.

At this point, the "moderates" are the enemy.

The only thing allowing these things to keep happening is the inertia of these do-nothing bitches.  The dam wall is cracking though - the more the "moderates" try to deny it, the harder it will be in the end.

It's not hyperbole to say that Millions are going to die, because westerners are too scared of being called a name to stand up and say "no more".

Millions of Muslims live in France - mainly imported from the old colonies across the Med, but also from Lebanon/Syria.  I don't know how the French are ever going to undo this problem without resorting to mass deportations or gas chambers, especially given their leniency towards an 'inclusive' society of egalitarianism for all.

Watch for the chorus of howls when some 'right-wing' bunch of Frogs take it upon themselves to settle the Islamic Question once and for all... or even speak out about it......

This is what I mean when I say "the harder it will be in the end".  They will continue to try a 'softly, softly' approach, and it just won't work.  But by the time they realise this, the pressure will have ramped up to unimaginable levels, and when it inevitably gets released....

Modern leftists are the embodiment of king cnut (and an anagram of such) - they think their platitudes about "condolences" and "solidarity" can hold back the tide.  How many more millions of deaths will we have to chalk up to the consequences of leftardation?

That IS the solution: Mass deportations of Muslims. Starting with any and all refugees. And closing the borders to any more of them.

As for French citizens, I'd ship out any Muslim found to be inciting violence against the French people, and perhaps his family too. I'm sure you can find plenty of them in French mosques -- speaking of which, I'd be conducting inspections of every one of them and closing any of them found to contain illegal weapons.

Or ... we can sit and wait for the next Islamic terrorist slaughter on French soil.

Europe: uncontrolled influx of migrants, mostly Muslim, two terrorist attacks in France.

Australia: controlled immigration, no terrorist attacks.

I don't know if we can legally do that, but certainly I'd like to see the government deport or deny entry to any radical Islamic preachers so they can't spread their hate here. Also, all sermons in all Mosque's should be required by law to be in English, with listening devices placed in Mosque's where extremist elements are suspected of meeting.

Actually, it was Abbott who did. Those 12,000 will be taken from UNHCR refugee camps in Turkey and Lebanon following health and security checks. The hundreds of thousands who trampled EU borders, tried to get through the Channel Tunnel ignored borders and knocked down fences in a general collapse of border control. That's a huge difference and we've already seen that some of the Paris attackers were masquerading as refugees. Thank goodness for Abbott and Morrison!
