It is possible that as a final act of reconciliation with his family back home who he hadn't visited for years, he accepted payment from ISIS (or similar) to commit this act on behalf of jihad.

Saddam Hussein made regular payments to families ($25,000) whose sons sacrificed themselves to suicidal jihad against the Israelis.

that would seem to be the most likely scenario.
a muslim, accepting money from fundamentalist muslims to butcher children.
and the lefties still console themselves with the idea it was
"nuffink to do with muslims"

Their stance is crumbling though.

There will be more attacks, ISIS are like the IRA taken to a super charged level.
France will have to act eventually.
And it is always better to be proactive if you are going to act.
Next thing you know, some UN representative will tell the people of Nice that , being on waterfront land, the greater threat to them and their children is "climate change"  Oh dear....how disconnected .

I got an idea. Import more of them, on the off-chance some of them will not run amok with a sharp instrument. That will be fair. Of course, if you wind-up dead, fairness might no longer have its appeal.

You are all talking out of your arse.

Neither MONEY nor Islam can be claimed as the incentive. I'd not be making such claims on such limited info.   How dumb are you..?  Roll Eyes

It is much easier to have a target to blame in circumstances such as this horror in Nice. Without Islam to cop the flack, we'd have to look at ourselves.!! Shocked

NOW don't get me wrong here... I do not LIKE ISLAM.

And I despise those weak men who must  lock-up their women, and torment them, in ways physical and psychological, keeping them in slavery  Can there be any doubt.??
!!!  NO NO  NO.  These are men afraid of women.  They are SO AFRAID, they do what they do. FEAR is that basis.  Sad to think of all the young girl children raped and mutilated by the old men in their town, clan, City, Nation. The customs are not Islamic, but the weak men of Islam choose to do these atrocities, under THAT cover, as excuse. AS do the terrorists. Not real Moslems at all. Sickos, and psychopaths... WHO lets face it, use Islam as an excuse for their extremes.!!.    AND these psychos EXIST in every society.

But that is not ALL of ISLAM,  any more than US  TV Evangelists who rape their flock, for money, sex and wealth are typical of ALL CHRISTIANS. Anymore than the american Christian Alliances that arm themselves with guns and explosives and  have their defensible positions, mostly aimed against their own government, as well as all the minorities, are typical CHRISTIANS.

Sweeping generalisations such as those made by Booby, for example, are too simplistic, and should not be considered as some credible reasoned response.
Quite the opposite.
This warmongering... with no expectations by the war-mongerers that they'd ever have to front up is disgusting. It is fomenting hatred in a world where we have much more than enough to go around.
AND YOU DO KNOW,,  what goes around comes around.! .

In history, Christians committed unspeakable acts upon men women and children.  Have a look at the Crusades.
Because that is how long BACK in time this particular schism in our world goes.

I wonder if anyone here on this forum could advise as to which warrior religion raised armies to go and kill , in God's name, first.

I suspect... And I would love to hear from some knowledgeable historian, when and which GOD'S army was raised first.

I think, sadly, it was the Christians Knights who first soaked the ground in the blood of the enemies of their GOD.

Am I wrong.?i
