Correct! - but not right.

If they're in Raqqa or wherever, they only need to be surrounded and starved out without a shot being fired. There are hundreds of innocent civilians in there who simply cannot be sacrificed to an all-out blitzkrieg.

Patience is the answer. Simply starve them out as the Afghans did with the British soldiers, back when.

Right or wrong?

Answer the question!

Very decent of you, old chap. You must be an Englishman. However, to defeat an enemy it is necessary to demonstrate ruthlessness to the point where they realise you intend to destroy everything they hold dear. That is how Rome defeated Carthage, The US defeated the southern Confederacy, and how the Allies defeated the Axis powers in WW2. Nice guy will not cut it.

I wouldn't surprised if the French dropped a nuke on Raqqah.

Evil can only be cleansed with fire.

Raqqa is not the problem. It's the Muslims who new this Mohammed and did nothing to stop him. They are the problem.
Radicalised Muslims and their entire extended families should be stripped of their Western citizenship and deported.
Terrorism in Western countries would stop overnight. As it is, they get off too easily and so they don't do enough to stop their kids, brothers, cousins. Muslims must pay a much heavier price for having terrorists and radicals among them.

You know the Kevin Bacon game, I'd do that with terrorist and go 6 levels deep.

Good post Frank. I agree.

What's your view on the US and its allies waging war against Isis? It seems to me there are three options:

1) don't wage war
2) wage war, then help them build democracies and self govern; or
3) strike hard and fast. Accept there will be collateral damage. Do not help rebuild anything.

What are your thoughts on the Sunni / Shia schism which is the driver of ISIS?

Where is your ultimate position Nicole Page 2016 which is to murder every Muslim man woman and child?  Why are you now hiding what you said you wanted?

Gee, there's a novel idea.  Can you add ~ 'and get the ferk out of Arabia?'

Where did the West ever successfully do that in Countries it has invaded?  Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq....anywhere in the ME?  Was it Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos?  Where?  Iraq?

Tried that in Iraq.  Amazing success.  Outstanding result.

The only solution is that we get the Hell out of where we have no place, where we do not belong.  Why are we there, Nicole Page 2016?  Are we the Warmongers?

They are both armed - The Sunnis have ISIS... the Shia have Iran and the Iraqi government.

As usual you're about 100% incorrect.
The shock and awe stage was a stunning success.
At that stage if all muslims wanted peace without Sadam it was theirs for the taking.

Even before the first bomb was dropped Zarqawi had moved to Iraq in anticipation for a chance for phase one. Wipe out the Shia then phase 2 the Caliph.

Had Sadam died if anus cancer we'd probably be in the same position.  Do some reading about how pent up the Shia Sunni thing was and how inevitable it was to burst out somewhere.

Bet you just stick to your simplistic Awab for Awabia mantra.

His cousin says this perpetrator was a lousy Muslim because he not only didn't go to the mosque on Fridays, but even ate pork.

Mind you, they did hear him shouting "Allahu Akbar!" as he plowed that truck through the crowd.

As a martyr he'll only find 72 virgin sows waiting for him ...

Send the all to Raqqah - then drop on a nuke on it.
