Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

What an incompetent, pathetic bunch of bedwetters British politicians are. When the going gets tough the linen gets urine soiled.

Cameron, Johnson and now Farage. The very blighters who created the mess are now going into hiding.

The funny side is that the scoundrel Tony B Liar might emerge as UK's savior as the only man standing.

It must be very difficult for some to understand a man of principle voluntarily giving up power.   Roll Eyes

Well in case you didn't know,
Farage resigned as UKIP leader once before to return to his business career.
He has fought this battle now for a long long time and if he wants to quit now good luck to him.
He's done his job. He's almost single- handedly rescued the UK from the sinkhole that is the EU and he's entitled to retire.

He's resigned twice before. He originally resigned in 2009 and Lord Pearson of Rannoch became new Ukip leader in November 2009, leading the party through the 2010 General Election and then resigning in August of that year. Farage also resigned again the day after the 2015 general election, before becoming leader again four days later.

Farage is the victor. He's spent seventeen years as a Ukip MEP for South East England, campaigning to get Britain out of the EU. And now he's achieved that. Job well done. He will, though, stay on as one of South East England's MEPs until 2018 and has now pledged to help other countries get out of the EU.
