Bangladesh café attackers spared Muslim hostages, gave food to those who could recite Koran

The ISIS terrorists who slaughtered 20 foreign hostages inside a Bangladeshi café spared those who could recite passages from the Koran — and the gunmen even made sure their pious prisoners were well fed during the tense, 10-hour standoff.

A survivor’s father said the shooters gave food to the Muslim captives after they barricaded themselves inside the Holey Artisan Bakery, a café popular with diplomats and expats in the capital city of Dhaka.

“The gunmen asked everyone inside to recite from the Koran. Those who recited were spared. The gunmen even gave them meals last night,” said Rezaul Karim, whose Bangladeshi son was rescued from the besieged restaurant. “The others were tortured.”
