The way I see it, it can only be good for the UK, certainly in the medium to long term.

It has voted to take back its sovereignty from the corrupt and parasitic money-men behind
the EU's overtly ultra-neo-con agenda and who are profiteering from the economic rape of
countries such as Spain and Greece while unfairly advantaging other, richer countries.

It has given the UK government the ability to act upon the wishes of the voters rather than
those of the afore-mentioned money-men. An example : The majority of Britons want their
rail network re-nationalised. EU law specifically prevents the UK government from doing so.

It sends a clear message that EU-mandated austerity policies which are killing British poor
are no longer acceptable to UK voters. British austerity policy is EU-mandated.

It lets the UK negotiate trade independently of the EU which, if played carefully, could re-open
trade links between the UK and Australia which were severed by EU mandate when Britain first
joined the EU. This would give considerably more weight to the anti-TPP lobby, which wouldn't
be a bad thing.

And it is a resounding bitch-slap to the face of neo-conservatism, and could prove to be the first
serious crack in the neo-con edifice. Already, several more countries are also now reconsidering
their position.

Its been so interesting to see the strange bedfellows this referendum has produced.

One aspect I found a bit unhealthy was the bleating of some of the young trendy voters complaining that old people got to vote, when they wont have to live with the consequences.

They should be reminded that it was the fault of the oldies that they no longer live in a unified Europe.

Without the oldies they would be living in a unified Europe,,, they may have also been wearing uniforms and saluting the Nazi flag however
