AP is only carrying on because he thought it was introduced under the current Qld govt.

Having been shown the truth, he now has to 'stick to his guns', as it were....

Nope. If it were a Liberal govt, I'd be saying the same thing. Ask anyone who knows me and they'd tell you my feelings on guns - especially guns around kids.

So teaching kids respect for firearms is a bad thing?  Shocked

Five year-old kids see a toy. That's all. Remember the gun-loving American woman shot in the back by her kid who picked up the gun off the floor in the back of the car while she was driving? Kids that age don't comprehend the danger. They think they play with a toy gun at school and the one at home is a toy too. Only an idiot would think this is okay.

Only an idiot would have an unsecured firearm and a child in the same house. The US has an over abundance of these people, Australia does have an abundance of idiots, but very few are allowed to have a firearm.

So I wouldn't get my panties too bunched up, it is just some PC Wank
