If, for example , our aboriginal communities were to Brexit, what would be the consequences?

Currently, on welfare...they all drink, sniff glue or petrol...these are people who are SO LOW in consciousness, that they dont want to feel ANYTHING.

It's obvious you're talking out of your arse, Acquascoot.  You don't know many Indigenous Australians, do you?   Most hold down jobs, have families and live in urban Australia, quite happily.  Few if any drink (heavlly), "sniff glue or petrol".   Stop being so insulting, please.  It's demeaning you and your fellow Australians.   Stop watching commercial TV...   Roll Eyes

Then you have to wonder what all this closing the gap shlt is? The abo's live just like the rest of us, but they are left behind at the same time. Nonsense.

Whom?   Why do you use a racist epithet to describe Indigenous Australians, Quantum?   Roll Eyes

Not all Indigenous Australians live in mainstream urbanised society.  They are the ones who are mainly being addressed by the "Closing the Gap" programmes.

Correct.  46% hold down jobs.  9% are unemployed.  44% don't count.

BTW, your numbers add up to more than 100%, Honky.  Roll Eyes

You're confused as all hell.

46.2% is less than half, so it is incorrect to say "most".  This is not one of those occasions where you can claim "your opinion is equally valid" - you are objectively wrong.

"Most" can be used to describe the largest number, Honky.  In this case, 46.2%.   It is a value higher than the other two values.   Roll Eyes

Quote:
Also 46.2 + 9.6 + 44.1 = 99.9.  99.9 is not more than 100.

Thanks for confirming my point for me, Honky.    Roll Eyes

Is there a bigger wanker on the forum than Brian Ross?

If I divided a pie into 20 reasonably even sized slices, according to his reasoning, the biggest one would be "most" of the pie.

And correcting his maths is "confirming his point".

closing the gap programs provide free medication and cheap dentistry , psychology visits etc to anyone who identifies themselves as an aboriginal.

this is interesting.

by roping in a lot of urban white folk with a tiny bit of aboriginal blood, you can now produce statistics saying that infant mortality, diabetes, kidney disease, suicide etc are falling thanks to the "closing the gap" initiative.

This, of course, is untrue.

You have merely diluted the appalling figures from remote communities by including a lot of white urban folk who are rorting the system.

Dont try to say this though or the white rorters will get very angry. Ask Andrew Bolt  Wink

Nah, I can see that Greg does find some humour in his silly games, but Brian is a humourless, joyless sperg.

Tsk, tsk, trolling, Acquascoot?  Doesn't become you.   Like Andrew Bolt you go on the superficial physical appearance of an individual rather than their genetics.   You see it as "diluting", I see it as "enlarging" the Indigenous population.  For many years, identifying yourself as "Aboriginal" brought undue attention from the authorities.   Your children could be stolen, you could be confined to a reserve or mission where the religious authorities took control of your life...    Roll Eyes
