Leisure Suit Larry - I loved it, it was the first of it's kind. Did you get to the end. I remember it was on the top floor, there was a pool and larry... well larry was happy as larry

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Ha ha.  Yes, the person who recorded that obviously had it down pat after many, many play throughs.

Here's another oldie that has now been re-jigged for Steam.

Did anyone ever play Wolfenstein?  A guy at work had it and loaded onto the computers and we all played it at lunchtime.  It's a first person shooter and we ALL had lots of fun.

Civilization.

I was hooked on that game, especially the earlier version. That was the last time I played any sort of PC game.

I still have Civilization III (in a huge box) here and load it up every so often but get bored very quickly.  You NEED to have cheats for this type of game ... especially the money cheats ...  Cheesy

Yeah, most of those type of games NEED cheats to get enough money, at least to get into the actual game play ....

The only game that I can really remember getting into was Zork Nemesis.   The graphics were really good at that time.  I didn't stop until I got to the end.

My son is a digital media IT student- he will be creating the games you will play in the future. he has played almost every decent game out there- open world-first person-etc.  He has his own YT channel where he reviews games for his audience to see if they like the look of the game before they commit to buy.., he has a beautifully deep timbre to his vocal chords and so a lot of his followers are girls.. Wink

I am hopeless at video games..but maybe I just need lots of practice. Roll Eyes

Certain games hold certain memories,

Leisure Suit Larry for one
Goldeneye on N64
First Gran Turismo
Modern Warfare 1
GTA V
Batman Arkham series

I've only played LSL (and the sequels). Never played the others you listed.
