I'd say when someone pays for a high end meal the last thing they want is their bub with them.

You'd be pretty pissed off if you paid for a hatted resturant and had to listen to a baby screaming tho.

Most baby books recommend you sleep when the baby does, but I saw it as a time to get into some washing , a bath, cook or whatever- I never rested when my baby did- if you can then that's great.  I was very very sleep deprived lol-

Ha! I can relate to that.

You breastfeed away...they slowly fall asleep....you feel buggered after expending all that energy producing milk....you curl up in bed and nap with them.

Then you wake up in total panic within a few minutes because you know another load of washing needs to be hung up lol.

Not sure about you but my nipples hurt like buggery! All my babies had sharp gums. God I so don't miss any of that. Dreadful pain!  Cry

Sharp gums? Never, ever heard that before. From any mum's I know, or have spoken to. Nipples get sore because of the friction caused by the sucking action. I question Farax at 3 months too. Baby's digestive system is just way to sensitive and undeveloped. So you force fed your babies?

Huh?

What the hell are you on about?

Oh and come back with your reg nic next time.

Ok Agnes?

Thanks.

Oh lol, so I am ashlee.. you need valium Lisa.

I worked with a guy who had a beast feeding fetish.  I don't know if he suckled his wife but whenever he was around a lactating woman this otherwise fairly normal guy went very very weird.

You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

So your babies just slept after breakfast for the first 3 months? Then they moved on to farax, with their "sharp gums"?

maybe they were vampire babies

He said that women do the bulk of the heavy lifting.

If anyone should be offended by what he said it's fathers.

yes, Herb, I know what he said.
'Men rely on women to do the child care '... hardly the same as saying that 'it's a womans job. '

I acknowledge that it's not just a woman's job but I can also acknowledge that my wife usually takes care of all that and I prefer it.
