thats unfair....what about when bubby needs his bum changed is that also ok whilst you are eating your caviar?...mum cant be bothered using all the special rooms that have been provided for her and bubby...

we eat in restaurants , we poo in bathrooms. Not sure why  it's confusing for you

ohh, i don't know where you go out for dinner, but up here 'special rooms' for mum and baby are in short supply. Most restaurants don't have them

Perhaps a nice little raised stage in the corner where all breast feeding mothers are required to sit whilst feeding.  A low wattage spotlight above the chair to create ambiance and so that the restaurant patrons get a better view and can ogle her milky breasts whilst eating their highly priced dinners.    Cool

simple really I think you could be on a winner....

.I personally do not wish to sit opposite a mother feeding her beast....

I go out to enjoy my dinner.. not to watch that anymore than I would enjoy watching the same mother change her babies nappy...

when she place baby on her shoulder and he/.she regurgitates said milk all down her back...

I do not wish to be exposed to that... Angry

I've never seen someone change their baby at a table.

I have, but never in a restaurant, but that is not the point.  This is Herbert's latest troll Thread.  He's started many on exactly the same subject here.

Re this topic....I personally believe that breast feeding needs to take place in a quiet private place.

Both mother/baby need to relax in order to express milk/breastfeed without the interruption of other people and noises.  I think many people forget that breastfeeding is part of putting baby to SLEEP.

Your 6 month olds slept after every  feeding?

Your 2 month olds for that matter?

How selfish/non-child focussed you are. Then again...it's very typical of your bogan upbringing.

Anyway, I was lucky I had my experienced, hands on mum by my side to help/support/guide me as I learned to breasfeed and nurture my babies.

And when baby slept after breastfeeding, I too had a chance to sleep. Why? It's very tiring work and you burn a lot of energy whilst breastfeeding. So it's impt to renew your own energy levels.

In my case, I could not breastfeed any of my babies beyond 3 months of age. I had big babies who loved their tucker...and I just could not produce enough milk to satisfy them ....so it was Formula after 3 months, as well as Farex etc.

I demand fed both of my children for 2 years each.

Even as newborns they didn't sleep after every feed.

You have no idea what you're talking about ... and it shows.

I breastfed mine too and there was once or twice I saw a perve looking on-  Embarrassed  It made me sick, so I am with cods, feeding in an approriate place that is put there for mothers with babies is the preferred thing for me- ewhen my babies were very young- I simply did not go out- that way everyone is happy.

I had a new aquaintence come to my house one day ( before I had babies myself) she sat down at dining table with her hubby and child-my partner next to me opposite- next thing you know her boob is out and she shoves it in the babies gob.  I didn't like it- I felt she was being very rude and my then partner was there and I didn't know what to think, didnt know where to look- she didnt use a modesty cover, she just didnt care- the one or two times I was out I used a cover- for my and my babies privacy and for the comfort of others. I dont care what anyone thinks- breastfeeding is between mother and baby.

Forgot to mention, having twins didn't help my breastfeeding situation with my 1st 2 babies. I just could not keep up with their demand. I gave up at 3 months...they just wanted way more than I was able to produce.

My last 2 babies were 12 months apart, so again, it was difficult to breastfeed beyond 3 months.  My last pregnancy interrupted my breast milk supply.

Anyway...I'm glad my breastfeeding days are over. It took a lot out of me...energy wise. And all my 4 babies were far more satisfied after they went onto Formula and Farex from 3 months onwards.

Ok....night all  Smiley

Most baby books recommend you sleep when the baby does, but I saw it as a time to get into some washing , a bath, cook or whatever- I never rested when my baby did- if you can then that's great.  I was very very sleep deprived lol-
