Ever fired a gun in real life? I bet you haven't. I've used my Uncle's .22 on his farm many years ago when we were hunting rabbits.

Wow, that's pretty brave.

What sort of weapons did the bunnies have?

The Glock handgun that NSW Police are issued has a fair bit more recoil than a .22 and add to that the fact that this target wasn't fixed on clips in a firing range made out of paper with no wind, no civilians around and no pressure, it makes hitting one person quite hard. It's hard hitting a rabbit that's sitting still while you're standing, so try to imagine how hard it is to hit a person who's moving around and behaving irrationally while holding a knife. Would love to see you do better. It's not like in the movie's where the good guy hits the bad guy in the shoulder or his bullet knocks the bad guys' gun from his hand. Just another keyboard warrior, aren't you? Roll Eyes

Anyone that has fired a gun is having a giggle at this. And most of your other nonsense. For eg, wind does not matter a damn in 20 feet. Give it up.

Show me where I said the wind mattered to those officers. I didn't. I was simply... nah. I can't be bothered explaining something so simple to you.

Don't worry, I can read what you asked, here it is,  "in a firing range made out of paper with no wind". No need to explain, I can read.

Pecca has swallowed the disasterous "protect the animals" campaign rolled out to the online ALP army with the little bunny that they didn't realise was a noxious pest.  Grin Grin

He's just following the ALP script that he is emailed every day.

I lost permission to shoot on a property because the neighbour objected to me shooting rabbits there on an Easter weekend and the land owner just didn't want the hassle of dealing with an urban tree changer. Was just easier to say, nah, not there any more.

Yep. He doesn't get that they're an introduced pest that do lots of damage. Like I said, their burrows are dangerous and can cause injury to livestock and people. While helping my Uncle muster sheep into another paddock he had two sheep break a leg when they tripped in a rabbit burrow. He had to shoot them to put them down. But not for 25 minutes because the noise would've made the other 200+ sheep panic and scatter. So they were in pain quite a while. Aside from that, my Uncle lost 2 sheep that day which means 2 less to sell. Perhaps pecca could read up on these pests before saying idiotic things in future.
