The letters are a different colour/shade to the other dots. How can you not see the letters? Maybe it's a colourblind thing.

Yeah, these "viral" things are always easy. There was one month or two ago where my missus was sitting there staring intently at this picture for a really long time and racking her brain. What IS this?

She showed it to me, I shrug and say "It's a picture of a cowboy, whats it supposed to be?"

"Oh my god, yes I see it now!" she cries, and I'm left wondering how anyone couldn't see it.

FD seems to be right: it depends on how good your monitor is (bit depth and the amount of pixels?).
