The two party system is collapsing. That's why the coalition created a DD, so to try and slow it down.

Little did they understand, a DD just assists the break up.

really ever the optimist  I see... still trying to drive the wedge  and the panic button..

honestly after all these years and not a thing has changed.....

does anyone believe the greens are anything like the party they started out to be??...

maybe even those bloody crocs up there will have to be moved...........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

come on greenswin what study reports have the greens financed on this..... or is it all pie in the sky... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

dont tell me they havent counted the trees where they plan to plant these windmills..or the frogs..  lets see those reports mate

As modelling in this post shows, a double dissolution is unlikely to deliver the Coalition more Senate seats than it currently holds. The government would still need the support of up to half a dozen cross bench Senators to pass legislation.

The only real winner from a double dissolution would be South Australian independent Nick Xenophon, who would bring in two or three Senators on his coat tails.

I agree with that - if anything the Independents and perhaps Mr X will pick up  votes - but I think that will be the Senate side.   I still don't see the Greens as having any more than what they have had.     They will still need to plea bargain and push their policies through (very much watered down I would say) in return for passing Government policies.

what a load of sh1t ... the greens aren't interested in breaking up the two party system, they're only interested in becoming one of the two players

Minority government would mean the same scenario for the old parties.
The two party system is collapsing.

The useless Greenies are just puppets of the United Nations and their real purpose is to destroy Australian society as we know it.

Just look at their despicable record.
