Greens announce $53b clean energy plan

http://www.9news.com.au/national/2016/05/29/03/33/greens-launch-qld-election-cam...

The Greens have announced a $53 billion clean energy plan for Queensland which it says will create tens of thousands of jobs.

Leader Richard Di Natale unveiled the plan while in Brisbane on Sunday to launch the party's Queensland federal election campaign.

"Our plan to build 90 per cent renewable energy nationally by 2030 would generate $53 billion of investment in clean-energy projects in Queensland over 15 years," he said.

"This would be delivered through a combination of direct government investment and ownership, and reverse auctions which provide bankable incentives for private sector investment."

Senator Di Natale said the plan would create between 3000 and 5500 full-time jobs in design and construction each year from 2017 across Queensland, particularly in regional areas hit hard by the mining downturn.

Queensland Greens Senator Larissa Waters said delivering a clean-energy economy would also safeguard Great Barrier Reef tourism jobs and agricultural jobs that were threatened by coal mining and coal seam gas.

"The old parties are leaving Queensland at risk of missing out on the job-rich clean energy revolution," she said.

I am sorry to keep at you about this Greens, but you are a nothing party!   You will never have control of treasury, policy enforcement - in fact anything!

You are out there promoting billions of dollars in investment, bank taxes, violence against women etc etc, but you have no funds!

You will only ever get your policies through by joining in coalition (looks like it will be the Liberals as Ms Bishop is saying) and you can blackmail them enough to throw a few dollars your way.

Labor and the Coalition have the dough old mate - not the Stinking Greens

What's the use of wasting money building Greenie toys which don't work just like the Greenies who are just useless bludging parasites on society stealing their Welfare from the Australian taxpayers ?

After all that disclosure about the shady past of the Greenies' very evil Dorky Doc Dick who would believe anything this charlatan says ?

Now let the proud man that sends the Greenies into hot flushes of pure panic with his fearless disclosure of diseased Greenie sickness tell us the TRUTH.

What's the bet that some Greenie who hasn't got a clue will start attacking Larry, the friend of the common man ?

PANORAMIC VIEW TO DIE FOR... well, at least it will make you feel sick

Greenie Toadstool Land Windymill fantasies

Wind power is certainly a major global industry but it’s only producing in the order of 1.4% of the world’s total electricity. And solar is so pathetically low that it needs to be bundled up with “tidal and wave” power to even register at 0.1%.

After my rented home had $10,000 worth of solar panels installed, my electricity bill went up by 15 per cent and the panels need cleaning every month!

There are 61 operating nuclear power plants operating in the US. There are 444 in the world with another 60 under construction. In the nation most suited to nuclear power, good ol’ Australia, there is none and not one is under construction.

Coal and nuclear make up 80 per cent of the world’s power and they are the only two power sources the Greens fight to prevent, and vow to abolish.

...
Maybe the sun gets in the Greenies eyes and stops them seeing reality

The strange thing is that if the world’s solar panels all blew up today, no-one connected to any grid would even notice!

Windmills are the result of foggy Left thinking and the very little they contribute to any grid will soon be lost. It’s the public who has stumped up the cost of these visually polluting monsters and it’s doubtful they will again fall for it at between $2 and $4 million a pop.

The largest and most expensive wind turbine in the world is the Vestas 8 MW turbine with a rotor diameter of an incredible 164 meters.

Wind power companies paint a bright picture for these turbines but again it’s a Green lie. These windmills have a narrow life span of between 10 and 12 years and must be replaced as their 8,000 parts are far too expensive to maintain or recondition.

So every one of 280,000 wind turbines world-wide will become unserviceable at the same time, and very soon. They will all become landfill as no government will entertain publicly financing the same Green scam again.

In the US, where an election fight has erupted over coal after Hillary suggested that it is finished as a power resource.

US power sources are below.

Coal = 33%
Natural gas = 33%
Nuclear = 20.47%
Hydropower = 6%
Other renewables = 7%
Biomass = 1.6%
Geothermal = 0.4%
Solar = 0.6%
Wind = 1.7%
Petroleum = 1%
Other gases = <1%

China and India disagree with Hillary as they continue to open one new coal-fired power station every week with a “promise” to review their dependence on coal in 2030. Hmmmm, 2030 eh?

The UN’s IPCC scam, of which Australia is soon to become a major player (read victim), is well underway.

And we still haven’t entertained nuclear power... only the waste storage of others.

As time goes on the unravelling of the lying hypocritical Greenies Global Warming SCAM continues apace so that it is now like the Greenies themselves, just a sick fraudulent joke!!!

Goldman Strikes Again: Did A Probe Into "Global Warming" Fraud Cost A Prime Minister's Job

"........An accompanying brief seen by Mr Abbott noted that "in recent articles in The Australian, the BoM was accused of altering its temperature data records to exaggerate estimates of global warming". To wit from the ABC:

"The way the Bureau manages its climate records is recognised internationally as among the best in the world," the brief said.

"Nevertheless, the public need confidence information on Australia and the world's climate is reliable and based on the best available science."

Inexplicably, instead of letting it go as most "status quo" governments always do, the cabinet kept pushing with demands for audits: audits which, if taken too far, may reveals some truly very "inconvenient truths" if not so much about global warming, as about the propaganda behind it and the firms that stood to profit from such propaganda.

The pressure intensified when Mr Abbott's business advisory council chair Maurice Newman wrote an opinion piece in the paper, demanding a Government-funded audit and review of the Bureau.

The concerns centred on the Bureau's temperature homogenisation process — the method in which it adjusts temperatures for weather sites based on factors like trees casting shade or influencing wind or if the station is moved.

It was then that the pushback started in earnest: enter Greg Hunt, Australia's Environment Minister who would do everything in his power to halt Abbott's crusade to "audit" the BoM. In a letter to Abbott in November 2014, Hunt called for the removal of the due diligence clause, pointing out that he and his parliamentary secretary, Simon Birmingham, had already “established a strengthened governance oversight of the bureau’s ongoing work in this area." In other words, "trust us" - we are the government... we work for you.

Both the Department of Environment and Environment Minister Greg Hunt argued against having the taskforce investigate the Bureau. One Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet bureaucrat described a Department of Environment official as being "on a campaign" to get the references to BoM removed from the taskforce's responsibilities.

Further documents appear to show Mr Hunt convinced senior cabinet members to remove any references of "due diligence" or "quality assurance".

In a letter to Mr Abbott written on November 18 last year, Mr Hunt highlighted the fact the "draft terms of reference refers to the taskforce doing due diligence on the Bureau of Meteorology's Australian temperature data set".

"In doing this, it is important to note that public trust in the Bureau's data and forecasts, particularly as they relate to bushfires and cyclones, is paramount," it said. "Given the recent publicity about the Bureau's temperature data sets, Senator Birmingham and I established a strengthened governance oversight of the Bureau's ongoing work in this area.".............

If the two party system breaks up, then who will the greens suck up to?    Unless there is a massive swing to the Greens country wide, and you manage to oust enough members of both houses to have  unimpeded control of the finances - you will never, ever achieve your goals

It really is pie in the sky stuff getting out there and touting your spending plan and your initiatives when you have no hope in the short to medium term anyway, or EVER getting them passed!

You will never get anything through unless one of the majors wants to be blackmailed to jumping in the sack with your party and taking some green stalk.  From what I am seeing and hearing, that will not happen

HOLD THE PHONE!!! THER"S MORE!!  I am reading that the treacherous Julie Bishop is opening the door just enough to give DiNatale a view of the naked idea that the Coalition MAY just be ready for an amorous roll in the political hay.    How low are the Coalition prepared to go for a doggy style meeting with the Greens?

The two party system is collapsing. That's why the coalition created a DD, so to try and slow it down.

Little did they understand, a DD just assists the break up.

Nah - sorry - that explanation doesn't cut.   The two party system is as strong and healthy as ever.     In recent decades, there has usually been some third party medium - be it an actually party, or individuals, with some form of control.    People have learnt from the disgraceful Democrats reversing their own policy and supporting the GST, to when Howard gained control of both houses and gave us workchoices.

Whilst the greens do have their supporters, the party itself is very distant from their birth ideals of protecting Australia's resources from being vandalised.   The Gordon below Franklin was a classic case of what the greens used to stand for.

Now, the Greens are trying to set themselves up as some form of major player - they are not - and most probably never will be.      Their only hope of achieving their policies is blackmail, backstabbing and whatever other measures they can utilise.  They are a "non" party
