certainly china, japan , south korea, singapore do not seem to feel the need for mass immigration .

They always say you should follow the money.

I think in the USA  it is about cheap labour for business and in other western countries it is to do with keeping the economy ticking over by more housing, contruction spending etc.

Big Business is benefitting.
The poor are being squeezed as services must be shared amongst a much larger pool and
the environment must be getting degraded by urban sprawl, more need for polluting construction and destruction of habitat.

I dont think they realise they are being "played"

i have no real problem with migrants as , if they come from a poor country , they may well be willing to work their ass*es off.
But the universal approval of this by lefties is peculiar.
I cant quite get into their heads to see what emotional buttons this is pushing.  Freud needs to sit them down and analyse them deeply and get back to us
