The problem is the legacy of conquest, genocide, enslavement and exclusion of Aboriginals from society since 1788.

Aboriginals were excluded from voting until 1960s which signified their exclusion from Australian society.

Thanks for the history lesson, so what would you do today, 2016?

You can teach a dog to sit and to shake hands and follow a few other simple commands but you will never be able to teach it how to do a tax return, unfortunately some people are like this also, the trouble is that there are other well meaning people that cannot grasp this concept, they believe that you can take anyone at all and with enough time and money turn them into Bill Gates, this is just not possible.

The absolute minimum first step to even attempt to educate a low IQ individual is to remove him from his habitat, which is almost certainly a forest of like minded low IQ individuals, and then place him among high IQ achievers, this will drag him or her up to the next level, leaving them at Aurukan will have them stuck in reverse.

This is the only way.

Naturally the regressive left would scream STOLEN GENERATION STOLEN GENERATION. (They would be the saved generation)

Make it voluntary, let the brightest kids pass a test and place them in boarding schools and let them return home for a week per year.

Leftards are dead against smart people, they actually promote stupidity whenever they can, the left/ right divide is actually a war between the dumbarse left and the intelligent,  the last thing the left want is another smart business owner getting in the way of the socialist revolution, what they actually want is more clueless dumbarse foot soldiers for the cause, this is why they love the muslim.

They would still been accused of genocide for the integration of aboriginal people.

Dilution of their race by intermarriage, loss of language & culture.

Either way there is no pleasing some and no winners no matter how you spin it.

The problem appears intractable from the white man's aspect because no serious attempt to include Aboriginals in society has ever been made.

The only way it can ever be solved is by enabling Aboriginals to solve it themselves. Aboriginals have deep resentment at their dispossession and exclusion from society. Its a long haul requiring the nurturing of Aboriginal leadership to take control over their society.

Closet poms poisoned Aboriginal society by displacing the social structures that existed before the settlement of Australia. Nothing replaced the previous social structures which gives rise to the anarchy of today.

They have as much power of self determination as anyone else.

If you believe anything else you're guilty of racism of lower expectations.

No they don't. They are still mostly shunned and excluded by closet pom society.

Individuals can't, but societies such as closet pom society can make Aboriginals feel inferior by policy by exclusion, oppression, denigration, dispossession and isolation.

Really, so individuals feel inferior not because they've resigned themselves to being inferior, but because society has forced them to become something contrary to the human nature born within them.

We have tried. It has failed.

I was guest lectured (I'm studying cab driving) by an aboriginal chap a few months ago. One of those "invasion day" types.

My answer to him and his ilk is yes, there was an invasion.

You lost. Sorry.

short of giving them blank ATM cards..and homes next door to a Mcdonalds I just plain dont know...

they do have better opportunities than I ever had..

they can advertise only for aboriginal only  jobs....see a whitey advertising whites only????... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes it wont happen.. yet every day there are adverts for aboriginal people only..... but they are still discriminated against..hohum..

as a white parent I was never paid to send my kids to school.. in fact I would have been fined had I not...

why is it always the govts fault..??..

they provide the teachers in the first place... these communities scream we get nothhttp://www.ozpolitic.com/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/YaBB252clean/underline.gifing the govt does nothing for us.. yet when they do.....they insult the teachers like this..

leave them too it then

.. they dont want teachers bugger them.I am sure there are plenty of places around the country that will be delighted to have these people come and teach their kids...

I am so sick of this crap.  Let the Abos do their sit-down thing, don't give them freebies and see how they cope.

Those who carry on need to get a LIFE and stop thinking that a BA will make them more more important than their parents.
