Do you deny that you are an associate of Nicole Page and that you are both public servants and stooges assigned to obstruct the furtherance of Aboriginal causes?

They don't have to live together to unite. They just have to align their actions and objectives.

Aboriginals are inherently tribal and do not get along with each other.

I have seen this on the central Coast of NSW where one tribe simply ignored the needs of the other tribes after it came into a considerable sum of money from a land rights deal.
Great deal it was too.
They screamed land rights for years until the National Parks did a deal with them, effectively shut off access to the beach, gave half of the land to the Abbos who promptly sold it off to a conglomerate before the ink was even dry.
Everyone wins, except the locals who now have far less access to the beach.

They then proceeded to waste the money hand over fist until Govco stepped in and appointed an administrator to look after the money left.

This is how the Aboriginals work, get someone else to do all the work and settle for a deal where they get something for nothing.
They could never get together as an effective political or organised power.
Too lazy, inept and easily swayed with a few stubbies.

So it's ok for multiculturalism not to work...for black people?

Multiculturalism only works when people want it to work, Nicole.  Guess what happens when they don't?  The overwhelming majority of Australians believe in Multiculturalism so it works for them.  It's the mewling obstructionists who don't accept it that are the problem.   Remember, Multiculturalism is only intended like most government policies to work most of the time for most of the people.  There was never a 100% guarantee about it.  Roll Eyes

In what way are they 'imposed'? They are negotiated with Elders. Have you ever read an SRA Brian?

They are imposed by a Government that doesn't want to admit that it's past policies were mistaken, Nicole.  Yes, I've read an SRA.   The Government turning up on the doorstep and proclaiming that unless the SRA is agreed to, the community won't receive any more money is a powerful incentive to why people might feel inclined to accept them.

Do you know anything about the history of Arakun?  It was created by the Queensland Government as a means of disinheriting the Indigenous Australians of their property rights.   Why were only indigenous Australians subjected to this sort of paternalistic policy, Nicole?  Because they were black and their presence was an embarrassment to the broader, white community.   Roll Eyes

Most Muslims accept and believe in Multiculturalism.   It appears to me that there are more than sufficient white, nominally Christian, invariably Ango-Saxon/Celtic descended people who don't accept it for some obscure reason.  Perhaps they fear giving people from other cultures respect?  Roll Eyes

Most Muslims accept and believe in multiculturalism eh?  You can of course demonstrate that.  Cool

PS, if as you argued the overwhelming majority of Australians believe that multiculturalism works wouldn't that include the white, nominally Christian, invariably Anglo Saxon descended people?

You need to bring to the table both some evidence and some internal consistency.

Who cares? yesterdays news. These communities need to be closed down and these people to avail themselves of the wider opportunities available in  more populated areas. All funding needs to be withdrawn and the new policy needs to be, assimilation.

Yes, well, that worked rather well the last time it was tried, now didn't it?   Roll Eyes

I suppose we could steal their children again and deny their Indigenousness again?

We could dispossesse them of their lands again and of course we could move them all to the (primarily) white, mainstream cities again?

I don't think you're grasping an essential fact, Ian.  These Indigenous Australians want to live on their ancestral lands.   Who are you to determine that they shouldn't be allowed to?  Mmm?   Roll Eyes
