Aurukun teachers evacuated.....again
May 25th, 2016 at 2:09pm

The only thing that could sort this out is to get the kids out of this toxic environment. They NEED another stolen generation.

Any kids with a bit of potential gets sent to boarding schools around the country, fully paid for.

Anyone who's basically fkcued like the ones causing the trouble get cut off the public tit and the fund channeled to the young kids who still have some hope.

Teachers in the Indigenous community of Aurukun in far north Queensland are being evacuated for the second time this month over safety concerns.

Most of the Cape York Academy's 25 staff and teachers had only returned last Thursday but tensions again flared on the weekend.

Principal Scott Fatnowna and his wife were allegedly threatened by three youths carrying machetes and knives on Saturday night when they returned home after visiting colleagues.

The youths, who have been charged, allegedly took the government car for a joyride before it got bogged just out of town.

An idle mind is the devil's playground. Evidently there is no employment or no creative activity available at Aurukun.

Australian governments have created a cultural vacuum.

The view from GordyL's crows nest is impeded by the social horizon and racial horizon.

Either cut them off the dole and have them use their time hunting bush tucker or fully integrate them.

Keeping them between two worlds is obviously not working.

why is it always the govts fault..??..

they provide the teachers in the first place... these communities scream we get nothing the govt does nothing for us.. yet when they do.....they insult the teachers like this..

leave them too it then

.. they dont want teachers bugger them.I am sure there are plenty of places around the country that will be delighted to have these people come and teach their kids...

Nothing to do with your post per se, but aren't Aboriginals compelled to vote when they reach 18 like everyone else here in Australia? I know in other countries they give out free this & that to get votes. Do we do the same here? Do we build a permanent dependency class here?

Rubbish ... this is a remote community that's why there's no employment and why they are welfare dependant.

They still have plenty of money for drugs, alcohol & cigarettes.

As for nothing to do what a crock .... why aren't their elders teaching them how to fish & hunt & live off the land?

What about their cultural heritage of stories & dance, playing the Didge etc. ?

The people choose to live in these remote communities.

TAX PAYERS SUPPORT THEM TO DO SO.

5 mins ago you were whinging about the govt closures of remote communities.

I think a bit of tribal law ought be applied to these juvenile delinquents .....

lets see how they fancy being speared in the thigh.

Then again I reckon you could do with a sample of that.

The problem is that the government created this Gulag with laws and rules which prevent anything other than a concentration camp scenario. The Queensland government is in control of this society.

You can teach a dog to sit and to shake hands and follow a few other simple commands but you will never be able to teach it how to do a tax return, unfortunately some people are like this also, the trouble is that there are other well meaning people that cannot grasp this concept, they believe that you can take anyone at all and with enough time and money turn them into Bill Gates, this is just not possible.

The absolute minimum first step to even attempt to educate a low IQ individual is to remove him from his habitat, which is almost certainly a forest of like minded low IQ individuals, and then place him among high IQ achievers, this will drag him or her up to the next level, leaving them at Aurukan will have them stuck in reverse.

People volunteer to go in to help in all areas from teaching to health professionals and how are they repaid?

With this lawless bullsh1t .... they aren't even held to account under aboriginal law.

It's about time people like yourself stop mouthing off and go out and live there yourselves.

This is the only way.

Naturally the regressive left would scream STOLEN GENERATION STOLEN GENERATION. (They would be the saved generation)

Make it voluntary, let the brightest kids pass a test and place them in boarding schools and let them return home for a week per year.

The problem is the legacy of conquest, genocide, enslavement and exclusion of Aboriginals from society since 1788.

If the settlers had included Aboriginals in their society since 1788 the situation would be much different.

Aboriginals were excluded from voting until 1960s which signified their exclusion from Australian society.
